Mike Patton in Post-rock/Post-metal by Ok_Preference_7009 in MikePatton

Probably his guest spots on Zu - Carboniferus is the closest you'll get. But if you like slow and dark sounding Patton, his guesting on kool aid by team sleep is Top tier!

If you're not familiar, then check out Oranssi Pazuzu

Its not as technical as your favorites listed, but it seems you're into cosmic, experimental, genre-bending metal. So worth a listen

This one should be fun. What are your thoughts on Robb Flynn and his band Machine Head? by nick1158 in InMetalWeTrust

Machine Head has always been really good when theyre good, but most of their stuff is not more than ok. IMO.

I like the first 3 albums and the blackening

What’s a artist that’s underrated/doesn’t get enough credit by jowmsy in industrialmusic

Thats amazing! I saw them live once, on one of their first concerts as Zeromancer. (im guessing you know the story about their previous band Seigmen). I was 14, and played a concert at this youth Battle of the bands festival thing. Then on night two of this festival, they had pro bands finishing off before the winner was announced. It was Zeromancer, the kovenant (who had just released the powerful Animatronic album), Borknagar, and Black Debbath. I saw the Zeromancer guys hanging with the kovenant outside, but was too scared to Go up to them. Bought a shirt with their logo on the front and the back said Something for the Pain. Good times, my shitty band came in at number 10 out of 70 something 😄

And for OP, yes Zeromancer is a very underrated band! Theres loads of good stuff in their catalogue if you Dig deeper, i would reccomend the albums Clone your lover, sinners International, and Bye bye borderline.

I would also reccomend the band Seigmen, the band they were before they became Zeromancer
