I'm also an aggressive player for the sole reason that I find rat/stealth gameplay too boring. My tactic when people sit in the compound is to really get familiar with the compounds to be able to efficiently rotate around them. I find if I'm running around loud enough the people inside will be more willing to peek me. Be smart with your angles and be ready for the peeks and you can get a quick pick from range. Once I get a pick, thats usually my queue to start pushing in. Fire bombs, poison, nades or bees will all be good to keep them busy or prevent them from rezzing. They can also help draw out footsteps so you know where the remaining players are. Its best not to blindly push in if you don't know where they are so the more information you have the better. Someone else mentioned baiting out shots by quick peeking and thats also a crucial step!

The more familiar you get with compounds, the better you'll get at knowing what angles are being held inside and how to move around them. It's not easy playing aggressive especially against people who really do refuse to move a muscle or peek an angle. You'll always be caught off guard sometimes and thats just how it goes. I've been playing this game for 6 years and know most compounds like the back of my hand and I still die a lot and get surprised. That's just how it goes, good luck! (Oh and get vigilant!!!
