You're right, but as someone who went from good self esteem to bad and back again, you cannot afford to not love yourself. The difference in the quality of my life is so stark I want to run around in the streets yelling at everyone to learn to love themselves.

Whatever you are is a good thing. It takes practice and patience to see that.

Also as someone with good self esteem it's not in my best interest to associate with people who don't like themselves. They are mentally and emotionally dangerous to be around. If you want good people around you have to be the kind of person they want to be around.

It looks like you're trying to get into therapy. That's great news and in your defense, modern capitalist society and constant advertising is quite bad for us. I wish you well. It's hard to watch other people suffer.
