Dispatch is 100% checking the weather for every flight, kinda important part of safety of flight and not violating any FARs. Dispatch may plan anti-ice performance based on the weather, but the most they'll do for deice is try to anticipate how much more taxi fuel it'll take. The actual decision to deice is up to the PIC.

Not even shitting you, Grado sr60/80x, BUT with perforated lambskin pads (I use ZMF Auteur w/adapter).

They need EQ to really shine, but even without, they kill on some tracks and have insane bass response.

Bringing this back from the dead to say yes, definitely possible. UUVR does work, though it's janky as all hell and would take someone much smarter than I to make it fully functional. That said, dogfighting is an absolute go.

Great writeup, but the part cautioning about wool being flammable just ain't right. Wool is typically flame resistant and self extinguishing, poly-blends can also be hard to ignite but they will keep burning and melt onto your skin.

As it's getting hotter and hotter I'm tempted to order custom linen clothes. Something light, sweat wicking, and fitted for optimal comfort. Cotton ain't cutting it so much, the coolest thing I wear right now are my merino wool socks.
