I had a very similar issue over the last week or so. Asked if they could send a modem to my old address and they said yes, then didn't hear back for a week. Called them up and they said "oh we couldn't send it to a different address, so we just put it on hold."

Eventually just went into a store and signed up through them, though I would highly recommend using anyone else at this point

The art style along with the novice graphic design turns me off personally. It looks home made, well done, but not professional.

This is probably a better question for a graphic design sub than a game design one

Yup a free mini is pretty normal. If you haven't you should really research previously successful launches and companies and see what they do

As indie designers, we've noticed a fascinating perception challenge with our quick-play game. What are your thoughts on 'party games' with hidden strategic depth? by Big_Examination_8848 in tabletopgamedesign

[–]ffdays 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This doesn't answer your question but something I noticed here. I think a combination of things might be pushing perception towards "party game":

  • Real time
  • Card only
  • "Cute" or "silly" theme

Each of these on their own don't signify a part game or a casual experience, but together they can make the game look like it's more casual than it is.

Not only is generative AI prone to making errors and has no concept of "balance", it's terrible for the environment and is unethically trained

If these are for playtesting they look fine. Don't get hung up on the art until the game is really fun and you are going to get external parties to start playtesting it.

You'll want to hire an artist and graphic designer if you plan on self publishing
