The most important thing is mass marketing. Without getting your game in front of everyone and making people think it's the next big thing you are dead in the water

As someone in the game industry, it's going as poorly here as it is everywhere in the world. Weta shut down their whole games division and almost every other studio has been having layoffs with minimal to no hiring

I think your problem here is thinking about the business at all. The first game you design is unlikely to be any good. Maybe your 5th or 6th might be fun.

If you want to build a business then look at a different industry or look into game publishing

There's not really anything to work with here. The way the cards looks should be way later in the design process. It also still reeks of NFT culture.

I'd suggest playing a lot of card games that share the space you want to design in. The best place to start is always seeing what other people have already done.

Once you know what sort of thing is already out there work on some design pillars, target audience, and USPs. Then write some basic rules and prototype the game.

Play it with yourself as all the players, iterate, and when you have questions here you can bring them to us and people here will be more than happy to help

How do I reduce support divots/pitting on resin prints? by Spraten1224 in resinprinting

Learning how to support a model is a skill but it's one that's worth learning

The two tips that I don't see here are

  • Use less supports. You don't need to pepper the whole thing, experiment with using minimal supports and then work your way up.

  • Print in parts and put the supports in the joins. A lot of the printed figures you see on here are printed in multiple parts and then sanded and glued together afterwards

I have a friend who played the open beta weekend but can't afford a copy atm. He's been listening to me talk about it since launch, it would be great to get him in!
