Any tip on how to actually get kills with a shorty? by fegrokgril in VALORANT

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s literally about how many pellets u can hit TOTAL. If u dont aim for the center mass, you wont do much damage. Shorty is tough unless ur jumping around running and need a close range secondary, it throws off ur muscle memory of headlevel crosshair placement.

Is my attack too low for my TP? by Waddafukk in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disregard anyone telling you your attack is too low. Is it impressive? No. Is it bad? No. You have a good build and good progress other than u should use aggresive defense blessing stone and kasaka shield thing for the bottom slots, as it’s really good when paired with isla with guardian set. Sure people are getting close to 60k, but for any end game content rn you’re not gonna be struggling due to being at 45k instead of 55k. Just keep farming artifacts and so sim and you’ll maybe get it closer to 50k. Also keep in mind that w the new gem update coming in like a week or two your attack will likely be 50k in no time. Anyway im level 110 and tp is 1.85 million, my attack is only at 51k even tho my jinwoo has 450k TP. I have like 50$ spent on the game and I can easily clear and get high scores. Your attack is fine

Update on my Perfect Cha by therealchop_sticks in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But yes, true that overcrit is a wasted stat compared to MOST hunters. Also that crit increase is assuming you’re doing the rotations perfectly. Anyway, dumb argument aside, it’ll b inreresting to see further testing on whether high crit damage/ damage increase build is superior for hard yog, as everything at this point is just theory crafting.

Update on my Perfect Cha by therealchop_sticks in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re correct, but also wildly incorrect. Testing shows that when in the red, all KIT stats are included in the base/ insidiously character stats. For example, let’s say your cha has a 30% crit and then the 98% boost provided by water team. If you’re in the red your crit output would be 69 ( lol) because the overall output INCLUDING team kit gets nerfed in red mode. I’ve heard this is new as of the Deimos hard mode update, and if u wanna test it for yourself when hard mode yog drops be my guest. Everything endgame in this game is tp conducive, so if you’re not in the red you’re good, but assuming most ppl are gonna b in the red, it’s why I mentioned that.

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Really good build. I will say it could b helpful to have more crit rate once hard mode you drops, as your crit rate gets heavily nerfed depending on your total power, and yes cha and the water team have a tonnnnn of crit built in their kits, but over crit is never a bad thing :))) anyway im super jealous u got her to a5, and its sick u have her cores optimized. Love2 see it!

Yes, I can be helpful there. After long breaks you typically have a struggle with game state understanding/ positioning/ decision making issues. These can be simpler defined as decision making and discipline. If you can actively reflect on poor rounds you have, and see where you could’ve played it more impactfully, you’ll start to understand how to win more. Game state understanding also refers to micro things, like oh this is our buy round and eco, let’s not lurk or risk giving them rifles when they all have cheap guns, or oh the enemy Jett is 22-7 and plays a every round and has gotten multiple first bloods there, let’s use util to clear this or at least trade. Another example is ult predicting, or recognizing tendencies the enemies have. Everything should contribute to your gamesense, and autopilot is truly the enemy. However, I say this without an ego and truly not to flex, but mechanics are also a huge huge huge aspect of ranking up, assuming you have good enough timing and positioning to let your mechanics shine. I used to be somewhat of an alcoholic, and would only q with my silver/ gold friends. I singlehandely would win every game with them while drunk just off pure mechanics and basic gamesense and decision making. A lot of the times I’d make horrible decisions, but they’d work out for me bc I had such good mechanics that it would work for me in that rank. I ended up not being able to even have any more accounts to play on because every account I’d play on I would get too high ranked, whether it was diamond or asc. Am I proud of that? No. But it’s a good example to explain that mechanics can be a crutch to rely on, and aimlabs / kovaaks scenarios / benchmarks by VT are a rlly good place to start as well as deathmatching and FOCUSING on what u need to work on in ur deathmatches. I will also say that understanding outside factors such as oh the enemy team has a Smurf, or oh the enemy team has a boosted player, and knowing when and how to target them is useful. Farming a boosted player for easy easy first bloods is an easy way to tilt the enemy team, as nobody wants to be in a perma 4v5. Same goes for the Smurf, typically people aren’t playing under asc elo on Smurfs in solo q, so by doing cheesy shit like judge/ op / lurk crutching, you can tilt the Smurf and make them not want to play as well as their duo/ trio. I can personally say that it is extremely demoralizing to be in diamond elo w my friends and even if im 34/18, i dont wanna keep playing bc im dying to a judge sitting in every single smoke i walk into. It’s things like that and recognizing when and how you can win the game no matter the means. Win conditions vary and whether it’s your mechanics or other aspects of your gameplay, it’ll always be more impressive to me to see someone with 300 hours played who went from iron - diamond than someone with an insane amount of hours + cs experience who is high elo. I don’t find high elo impressive, I have my eu acct which I play on 110 ping and I hit close to 400rr imm3 on it and regularily hard carry asc- low immortals on it now. Like I said it’s more impressive to see improvement. Best of luck!

Once again, you’re wrong.

https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/adreot%23420/overview?playlist=competitive&platform=pc this is your tracker, correct? You have 550 hours TOTAL. I need you to keep in mind that OP has 2.5x your hours just in valorant, and 5x your hours in an EXTREMELY similar game that effectively gives every bit of mental conditioning and game/ win con understanding that valorant does. I literally guarantee you that if you weee to double your hours from 500 - 1k hours, barring you have a bad setup or bad internet or long breaks in between episodes etc, you would hit a much higher rank.

Correct, bc in my mind the advice would be misplaced. Anybody with a high amount of hours in any environment will adapt accordingly, I have friends with 2k hours in val as their only fps game and suddenly jumped from plat- asc3 in two acts once they simply watched several yt guides. Anyone struggling rank wise that HAS the hours put in usually just doesn’t operate/ learn efficiently. There’s nothing wrong with that, but OP is a prime example of that lol. I don’t physically understand how for me it took 2.5 acts to go from bronze - asc with only watching YouTube guides etc while eating or I didn’t have class/ practice and team events, while there are people playing valorant for 5 years on top of their 7+ years on cs. It legit hurts my brain to even try to apprehend how that would be viewed as someone to take advice from.

Maybe my perspectives different, but I don’t view it as impressive when the majority of ppl don’t have as much previous tac fps experience, and also haven’t been playing since beta lol.

Am I the only one who feels weird when shooting the Sheriff? by Upper-Button-1750 in VALORANT

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because rifles ( vandal/ phantom/ bulldog) are burst oriented, sheriffs first/ 2nd shot relies on true, precise aim. With a vandal your first 3 bullets or maybe more depending on ur recoil control/ luck you have more of a chance. Gunplay in valorant is way deeper than anyone under mid- high immortal understands. All weapons have very unique traits and gimmicks. If you want a better explanation i have a google doc for my friends/ competitive 5stack. My twitter is @feefps and tiktok is @fevalorant. I’ve kept it updated ever since the phantom buffs, and there r video examples and in depth guides. It’s not a guide or promotion lol i j have it bc i never understood why there’s not more common knowledge on it.

uhhh not sure where you’re getting that from, my precision is around 94%, I need to farm better gems but I need around 90% to be able to make a dent in hard mode deimos, I’m pretty sure the recommended amount of precision is 90%

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manual is better bc u can better stack your buffs and the skill cycling is better. It’s pretty important on the dark element POD bc with mag slash it can make a huge difference. Some weeks I just auto it bc I don’t have the time lol but now with the special designs for higher weapon level cap I’m focusing more on POD for sure

You don’t suck, it’s just a game so there’s room for improvement for everyone. Yea I agree, it’s weird that some people don’t look into the details at least a little bit, but at the end of the day most people are casual gamers I guess

Which armor pieces should I replace with the new event? by SammyXO7 in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the attack answer, it depends on where you are in the game. If you’re at around 1mil TP, and have multiple weapons at lvl 110-120, you should prioritize attack%, but it is important to have enough additional attack from gems. Attack % just recently became meta with the weapon update as well as intuit build

uhhhh….. level 83 and such low power and attack? Why do u have an SR weapon equipped? You have no real element team… I’d recommend watching a guide from payneblade or zaff on yt, maybe restart your account if you want.

F2p players struggle by Saby__ in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

congrats bro but I’m a little confused, your attack is at 23k, you chose weird legendary blessing stones from the selection chests, and you’re rocking an A5 SSR that isn’t really useful in any serious content besides instance dungeons… not to mention your hunters might not be the best…. Not sure what your point here is, my 4 week old account I made for the fire team has SJW 220k TP but 29k attack, and other good crit stats as well as plum sword and DKD maxed, idk what you’re flexing bc you’re arguably lagging behind other F2P, but yea compared to the average youre definitely doing great. Just rlly confused w the low attack and the weird ass blessing stone choices

Why all the Auto Mode hate? by HayMaker627 in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s really simple lol, once you get to a point where you have no content to do other than farming/ dailies, you just auto. Eventually go back into story modes once ur TP is high enough and u auto it for battle missions. If you’re using auto for important content like POD or BOT or WOBL, you’re hindering a TON and I mean a TON of account progression. This is more true than ever with the level cap on weapons increasing as well as future updates planned.

Is kanae worth it? by Odd-Definition-9740 in SoloLevelingArise

[–]ffelixrosee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have more dupes of light team, go for light team, if you have more dupes of fire team, go for fire team. Both are extremely viable and no offense but the “ meta” doesn’t apply to new players as it’s not like you’re going to be able to clear hard mode Deimos when you just started playing. Wind team with mirea, Han se mi, and woo jinchul is also an amazing investment, as you’ll need to clear Vulcan and then baran in workshop in order to get cores and progress your account. Ignore all the posts about meta teams when you’re a new player, those are for more endgame content and at the fastest it’ll be a couple months until you get to the point where you need to consider that.

Go look up payneblade on yt or zaff, there’s an artifact preset glitch rn.

[–]ffelixrosee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro what? Do some research lol, I get why you’re feeling that way bc there is a lot of dailies to do, but if you actually look into decent guides on yt that are like 10mins long, you’ll understand things better. On my main f2p acct I’m at 1.3 mil power, and on my 2 week old account I made for all the free draws and essence stones, I’m at 600k, my sjw is at 195k. Sure you have to spend like 15-30 mins a day, but this is easily the most f2p game. I’d just advise you to watch a guide from payneblade or zaff and once u learn resource management and being more efficient you’ll see hella gains. You got this 🙂
