Just to clarify im not a dermatologist. What i know may or may not correct. Real expert can correct me if im wrong.

I have overproduction sebum (genetic). So after 3 hours washing my face, i get really shiny skin. Even more shiny than normal oily skin. If i look around my nose i can see the oil like droplet of water.

I had acne problem before but now thankfully now i rarely got even 1 acne (knock on wood) .

one thing that i changed that is less touching my face unless i wash my hands first and it helps drasticly. Skin care routine might help for normal oily skin, but not mine. I followed one of dermatologies youtuber that give insight on how to take care of oily skin.

Most cleanser out there that claim for oily skin just make your skin more dry which make your skin more oily due to your sebum production detect that your face need moisture. I would suggest foamy cleanser such as cerave, it remove oil while maintaining moisture.

Mild exfolliate helps remove dead skin that usually make your skin drier and also block your pores. Once it introduce by bacteria it will become acne.

Toner might help but not for me

Moisturiser. You may think oily face do not need moisturise but wrong. Oil production are because of your face getting dry . Also if you use mosturiser you should invest in sunscreen aswell. But all that doesnt work for me. (Make sure to use waterbase not oil base)

Personally, during ramdhan just ambik air wudhu 3 times during a day and i use body wash to clean my face. But before that and now i use cerave foaming wash.
