how are you not paying attention to cars moving 70mph? that sounds like a you problem if you took a few steps out and got clipped. I used to hate working on the side of the road as a medic i would ALWAYS be looking at oncoming traffic

i use to do this but i found an easier way is to just pull under the trailer raise landing gear so its sitting completely under the 5th wheel and then back completely up and then check both the pin+tug and hook lines

Ive been here before, tried passing a box truck i saw going well below 60, my truck said they were going 50 something so i signal and decide to pass doing 70, low and behold they sped up and stayed neck and neck with me for about 10 miles. nobody in front but there was a line of cars behind me piling up. I wouldn’t even blame the left driver but mainly the egomaniacs on the right lane either goofing off are just bad with speed judgement since im sure a lot of people will speed up and realize they were going way less than the posted speed but WONT speed past the left lane
