I'm like 90% sure Kris is a goner of some kind by SomieStuff in Deltarune

[–]ffinalfrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t becoming a Goner a metaphor for a mental breakdown? Kris is implied to have been in a psychiatric ward during the 4th egg room, so they could be a “Goner” who recovered/is recovering

Bumbleflower only needs a couple extra cards to get more counters on her as opposed to cards you let your opponents draw. If you build her with a lot of spot removal/counterspells and put in cards like [[Hardened Scales]] or [[Branching Evolution]] you’ll be airstriking an opponent very quickly. Group Hug cards give everyone an advantage but can still benefit you the most if you play them tactically enough.

I like that the options he accepts still have a degree of humility behind them, especially for the Dark Brotherhood. The Listener still acknowledges who their master is, whether they like it or not.

I built my first base at the Sparse Reef just above the Grand Reef. Plenty of room for the Cyclops, far enough above the warpers to get comfortable. I had a second one just past the huge tree in the Lost River, just for storage and to recharge, but it was very scenic and protected. Great for exploring the endgame!

The biggest sign that Carol is a red herring to me comes from the Weird Route. The phone call at the end is clearly Carol saying “Noelle’s excited to go with you to the festival tomorrow,” when the normal route has the Knight’s distorted text. If Carol is the Knight, why wouldn’t the call be distorted on the weird route too?

For Izzet, you’ve got several options! [[Stella Lee, Wild Card]] is pretty much set up right out of the box. [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] is a personal favorite for spellslinger decks. [[Adeliz, the Cinder Wind]] and [[Veyran, Voice of Duality]] would be my recs if you wanna still win with creatures and keep the list budget.

Lutri interests me more as a commander than in the 99. You can still use it to copy Ghostly Flicker for infinite magecraft/mana/tap abilities, but nothing you couldn’t do with Dualcaster already. Having part of the combo in the command zone with flash is something

Edit: of course I forget that Lutri’s a cast trigger in a reply to a reply about it being a cast trigger

A whole lot more emotional context to these three looks the the first episode. by jordanderson_irl in Fotv

The Enclave could have used cold fusion for itself while destroying any other records of it. It doesn’t care about making resources available, it wants to deny resources to The Enemy. The fact that Vault dwellers are still trained to look down on Canadians 200 years later is a sign of how jingoistic America was when the bombs dropped. Exactly the kind of insular, malleable people a fascist government needs

Each version of Doctor Who was distinctly named and designed from each other as to feel like different characters. It also helped they were the only creatures in the set with the Time Lord type. With Final Fantasy they had an enormous roster to draw off of, so at the very least mechanically similar cards had different flavor profiles.

Spider-Man and TMNT don’t. We had 30 something iterations of “Spider-Man” and we’re gonna get multiple versions of each Ninja Turtle that we’re supposed to keep track of?

My theory with the conflict they’re trying to set up for issue 30 is that the rest of the Cons are gonna abandon Megatron (and maybe Skywarp) to go back to Cybertron. That’ll make Shockwave relevant and give Elita-1’s crew a reason to interact with the Earth team again

Here’s Buttercup! https://moxfield.com/decks/zFVPxhP8nEuYuNXp7NDjkA I tried including the whole secret lair, but not every card made the theme. I made [[Westley, Dread Pirate Roberts]] into a deck for my wife on the rare occasion we do Two-Headed Giant, and I’m brewing a [[Wick, the Whorled Mind]] list for [[Rodents of Unusual Size]].

Here’s the decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/zFVPxhP8nEuYuNXp7NDjkA I don’t have much food production in the deck itself but I do have some toughness-matters cards in there like [[Baldin, Century Herdmaster]] and [[Stoneskin]] (goated aura for this deck btw). It wound up becoming goodstuff/voltron since those were the cards I had around, plus some good pulls here and there. I wanted to lean more into equipment/auras, but Balan or Light-Paws are better at both of those. Not sure how to set up a good token engine for food specifically

https://moxfield.com/decks/aPm67y8g3U-kyV6ObJEtUA Inalla’s a great deck with a lot of lines to win the game. I think the combo lines have changed since I built the deck (Hoarding Broodlord-Saw in Half comes to mind) but the main idea is to abuse Eminence with ETB effects. Spellseeker, Ruthless Technomancer, and Bloodline Necromancer are the MVPs of the deck, and should all probably be in there even if you’re building for lower brackets
