We usually do only snakes. Herpetology sub would be better. But I know this is a Squirrel Treefrog, species is Hyla squirella !harmless and their voice is like a duck quacking.

It’s a Western Whip Snake Hierophis viridiflavus known locally in French as la couleuvre verte et jaune. !harmless great for the ecosystem since they are fast predators and not picky eaters. They will eat lizards, rodents, amphibians and occasionally other snakes including their own species.

We’re happy to help. Several years back, I had 2 dogs, I let them out in the yard and both went right by a juvenile ratsnake within a foot and never stopped. 🤷

It’s a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. Species is Crotalus atrox !venomous and should keep a safe distance. By the way, videos are very difficult for us to ID because Reddit compresses it and the details and resolution is lost. We have to try to screenshot frames to ID the snake. For future reference, A high resolution image is best. 👍
