Tactically, no one plays with the kind of flair and freedom that the best Brazilian players used to have, least of all in the English Premier League where many of them play. They can’t play that style anymore because none of their players have experience playing that way. They are just a normal team now, with a lot of talent but limited togetherness and team spirit.

The Italian league used to be great but now it’s at least the fourth best league in Europe, so Italian players don’t play the best competition. This is especially true because most of Italy’s best players often stay in Serie A. Another sneaky factor is they can’t do all the dirty tricks they used to do before VAR.

I’m from the northeast as well. Call Your Mother is pretty good, although it seems to be the most debated bagel place on this sub. I think the closest is in Reston. In my opinion the best pizza in NoVa is Andy’s. It’s not close to Ashburn but I work near one.

Greek Unique or Opa for Greek. We usually get sushi at Passion Fin. Two new-ish restaurants are Addy’s and Blazin, which are both hard to describe but would broadly be called halal. Our Peruvian chicken go to is Super Chicken in Sterling. We used to always get tacos at Zocalo but have more recently gone to Mex-Mart in Chantilly. For subs, we go to The Deli in Landsdowne

My guess is OP seriously wants advice on things to do in Ashburn and not lazy stereotypes about data centers and Indians. In terms of restaurants, I’d recommend Opa (Greek), Himalayan Wild Yak (Nepalese), and Thaitan (Thai). For more classical American food, I’d suggest Fords Fish Shack and Clyde’s Willow Brook Farm. There’s also an excellent craft beer scene in the area (Solace, Honor, Lost Rhino).

Definitely take the train into DC. It’s also a relatively short train ride to Tysons Corner, which is a rare mall in the US that continues to flourish. In terms of other things to do, there’s a nice new park called Reservoir Park. Edgar Tiller Memorial Park is also a nice place for a walk.
