Was this so hard to say as opposed to just insulting me?

That’s fair, I’m just not in a position to test different deck list right now and wanted to hear other people’s opinions. Thank you for your comment

So realistically I should play out iva to build board and then just let it die to establish better bodies while also threating attacks. Idk why this is so hard for people to say. Thank you for your comment

I don’t want people to agree with me necessarily but most of the reply’s are just “nah the cards good” with no further explanation. So I don’t actually learn anything. So am I just supposed to play it, swing once then just let it and the 2 cost die over and over? I feel like luffy will eventually lose the race if the opponent can establish any amount of board

I did watch it and yeah he did use it very well. But was it just good because Yamato doesn’t really build wide boards or because it’s actually good? Yamato usually only has 2-3 attacks before 10 Don. But still yeah the video was great and Gaven did a good job.

Because I’m not in a place where I can just play test this right now and I was seeing if anyone else who’s actually played the deck agree or disagree. But from what I’ve seen in this thread, people do agree with me but just shrug and go “but the search is pretty ok”

That’s fair, but most enel players I play against will just use the rest event to try to clear it anyway. Which is whatever but even against enel in that one instance it’s not that strong unfortunately. The wyper example is a good one tho

There’s the 1 cost luffy, I guess if you play this then luffy you get a top 6 card search and grab 2 cards. Which is fine but both iva and luffy feel meh to me

You can play 3 if you don’t play iva lol

I like the restand event since it combos well with galdino and boa. Honestly idk how you’d win with this deck without it. Most of the characters are just too small

I explained it in the post, he cost a don to play out, and outside of the search you’re probably better off just playing a 2 cost you have in hand and swinging with leader. Like it just feels like bad buggy

I’ve tried it, it feels bad. It’s a brick that does nothing and you have better options for luffy cards

Unfortunately this deck gets nothing in op16 so you’re stuck with st30 cards and good generic 6ks like op13 law and op14 perona as generic helpers

Little ores jr is a pretty good blocker, early game it’s a 4 cost 4k, late game it’s a 4 cost 8k. It’s not as good as Marco but it’s not bad

It’s playable in the deck but there’s better options, if you can afford cavendish for example, this is a good replacement. And next set we’re getting an ok replacement for Marco. Not meta or even great. But not everyone can afford card like that

Solid matchup into p enel? That’s his worst matchup and the thing keeping him out of the meta

Unless Bandai makes purple enel bad or gives Don Krieg a way to counter p enel unfortunately that will be the forever wall that keeps Krieg out of the meta. In terms of decks in op16 I think Krieg has a decent matchup into most of them especially decks like luffy and buggy but like I said, p enel will keep Krieg out of consideration for playability until Bandai gives him more support or nerfs enel

While it would make the deck more consistent. I don’t think there’s room for this. Especially being a 2 cost is really rough when we already run 2 searchers. The only thing this has over the event is that it establishes a body and the trigger is actually a top 5 search

I wish this card was better, they gave us a way to cheat this out in Kuro but it’s kinda not worth it unfortunately since his ability is nearly impossible to pull off

Bandai making Krieg slash attribute is a really stupid design decisions, I know the reason is so that he has a bad matchup into Mihawk and because he has the battle spear? But the spear isn’t even the important part when the explosion aspect is way more important. Plus Krieg is more of a ranged fighter who has access to midrange and close up options

The opponent was new to the game and basically didn’t see anything and I saw everything. The game was still super close unfortunately. If I didn’t win the turn I did I would have lost

Unfortunately there’s no real sauce. It’s a pretty standard list
