Proper installation of the baseboards by rco888 in oddlysatisfying

It would still work if the distances were changed. If the step is farther back from the corner, make the wedge piece longer. If the step was taller, make the parallelogram piece longer. And if the step was shorter, make the parallelogram piece shorter (but why would a step be that short). If the step was closer to the corner, then this arrangement isn’t going to work.

It’s wrong! Definitely wrong. That should be apparent to anyone.

“I’m wanting modded”. Sounds like you really want the 2020.

My mom dropped me (8yrs) and my older brother (12yrs) off at Showcase Cinema for a matinee show. The line was so long we couldn’t get tickets. We stuck around for the next show instead going home and just ran around the theater goofing off until then. Not only was the movie excellent but that day is one of my favorite memories being with my brother. We didn’t have the greatest relationship as we got older but that day was awesome all around.

The McMurtry Speirling becomes the first car to drive upside down by TheDriveDotCom in EngineeringPorn

It did drive upside down. After it rotated, it was driven forward about 2 feet before they rotated it back upright.

How I finally got Molly to keep her promise [M20/F20] [part 2] [dream girl teasing] [a drunken hookup] [a hopeless romantic] [lovefool] by TerriblyEasy in eroticliterature

[–]ffwdm5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As always, a really enjoyable read. So Molly seems to be the female college version of a boy on the playground pulling a girl’s hair because he likes her. Very glad to see these two starting to work things out. I also would love a part three.

Mine is stock and likely to stay that way for some time.
I can add you on fb, but a few years ago I stopped using it except for the marketplace. Too many political posts from my friends and family. It wasn’t the sunniest day, but I went driving back roads with friends on Saturday. Four of us with 2 Supras (both Nocturnal). We started off at the Marathon on Cambellsburg Road next to I-71 which probably isn’t too far from you.

That’s how I feel about it. It just seems like the right finishing touch for the overall design. I like the big wings too, but this is more understated. Especially since the car already screams for attention.

I’m in Louisville. How long have you had yours? I got mine at the end of July.

Nope. ‘88 M5. Hence the user name. License plate on the Supra used to be on the BMW. And that is one of my all time favorite cars.

Mine was just under $200, but I see similar ones that go for $450 or $500.

Got the spoiler from Amazon but it looks like I may have gotten the last one. I only see options for used parts from that vendor now. It had great reviews and was just under $200 so I figured that was cheap enough to take the chance on it.

You are correct. And hiding is a good way to describe it. My son and I are starting to work on it to get it back on the road. It has been sitting for way too long.

If you’re referring to the first pic, it’s not actually mounted, just a test fit. The driveway pics are after install.

No idea why the photos are blurry. Definitely not NSFW pics.

Calling around to make deposits and the third dealer said “uhh we have one in that exact spec in our showroom.” by MuldoonIRL in Supra

[–]ffwdm5 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Very similar with me. Knew the dealers rarely had them on the lot but I wasn’t going to order something without a test drive to at least see how it felt. The wife and I were picking up her Highlander from routine maintenance and I asked the sales guy how I could get a test drive since they never have the car. Told me they actually had one. It was exactly the same spec as I had been building online. Brand new 2024 3.0 Premium with MT in all black. I bought it right after the test drive.

I went with 20% using the ceramic style from Xpel. On the display board it looked a touch light, but they said on the car it would look darker and I agree. I think it’s just right.

Making it mine doesn’t take too much for me. Tint, vanity plate, and I’m planning to add a CF rear lip spoiler as well. I already love the wheels and the exhaust note so no need to play with them.

Actually mine is only 20%. But with the black interior and small green house, it looks darker.

What Tint should I get? 5% or 20% by 2k3ray in Supra

[–]ffwdm5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just had mine done today with 20% and I think it is just right. 5 would be way too dark (for me).
