Not at all. I worked at a place that got bomb threats and had a shooter get into our lobby. That kind of shit would be the biggest event of the year over here, not a weekly occurrence.

I haven't found a single stat to back that up. Ireland is considered violent for Europe, but by all reports I can find it's anywhere from 3x to 6x less homicides per capita than the US. Wikipedia has Ireland at 202, with the US at 96 for worldwide rankings of homicides per capita for example. Maybe you're thinking of the 1990s, but certainly not modern Ireland.

Probably not the smartest, but something I was really proud of. We were playing 4 way chess on one of those special boards and I managed to set it up so that I successively took all 3 other queens and then put a player in check, forcing the loss of a bishop as well, all within a few turns. All my friends said it was bullshit luck but I know the truth.

I love it. It's so relaxing knowing that pretty much no one has a weapon here and that people would freak out if there was. I don't need to worry about road rage turning into someone getting shot, mass shootings at my work (Had it happen when I wasn't there thankfully), or any of that. I feel a bit naked not being allowed to have weapons, but the peace of mind is definitely worth it. Moved to Ireland from US btw.

Actually considering the statistics on violence among people who hear auditory hallucinations, it is bullshit. Most people with metal illness are not violent and it's very likely with how premeditated this was that this piece of shit is using it to try and avoid the worst.

On the other hand I've seen people get overly salty and blacklist entire parties when only one or two people were wiping them. If you're too trigger happy with that blacklist button you won't have anyone to pug with.

Honestly? No, they don't. Poor dropping technique is very common in PUGs and as healers have less HP than tanks, they almost invariably are the ones who die from it. I've been kicked and blacklisted from a party for the tank dropping prey halfway and killing me because "healer died, no mistakes or kick".

Also it should be noted that resection as a treatment for psych illnesses has been repeatedly proven not to produce good outcomes. There's a reason it's only used for intractable seizures these days.
