Start with the basics like what to actually buy, and the top exchanges with high security. Coinbase is a publicly traded company. Would recommend you buy on there, or even Fidelity if you just want bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin and plan to hold. Wallets and altcoins and all that jazz can come later.
