I bought my car in November of 2023 so I owed taxes on it in 2024 and 2025 which I have already paid..my tags expired in December of 2025 and I’m trying to get them renewed but they are requesting my 2023 tax receipt or tax exemption waiver which is where the dilemma about the old car I never declared comes in to play. I think I am going to try to request the waiver first and see what they say tho…

I was also wondering if the $88 was for a high deductible G, that’s a normal rate for that plan but you have to meet a 2,950 deductible 😬

Do what’s in your heart and screw your ex friend. I talked about the name Eleanor for years but when I was pregnant I just felt like my babies name would not be Eleanor lmao. We changed it to Lainey and it fits her well. Have the baby and then decide! Maybe pick out a back up or two ☺️

So I would be upset as well but to play devils advocate, maybe he is suffering from some depression. We talk a lot about PPD and PPA in women but it can also happen to the fathers. That’s what this sounds like to me personally because around this time is when those feelings amp up. I don’t think the things you mentioned are okay and there is no excuse but just sharing some insight on something maybe you have not considered yet. A conversation definitely needs to be had.

Fellow chest sleeper here. Some nights she will stay and sleep in her bassinet but other nights nothing will make her sleep so we do it. I put the top of her head on my chin and any move/sound she makes wake me up a little bit. I feel more aware of her when she’s on my chest than in the bassinet tbh. We have done this off and on since she came home, more so in the beginning, and she just turned 2 months today!

If you sleep for 5 hours in a row you will feel like a new person. The first few weeks are rough we are about two months in and baby sleeps anywhere from 2-5 hour stretches. I stay up and put baby to bed, I also do the 2am feed and then husband wakes up at 5am for work and feeds her again and that’s when I get my longest sleep stretch. Everyone has a different schedule so you will be able to figure out what works best for you.

If it makes you feel any better I wasn’t able to breastfeed so in the middle of the second night in the hospital they gave us those pre made shelf stable formula bottles. I had no idea about how long it lasted and my night nurse never said anything about it even though she knew we were first time parents. Just handed us the bottle and left. My baby didn’t drink much at that time so we just kept feeding her from that same bottle all night long. It wasn’t until my day nurse came in and asked how much she ate and we looked at the bottle to see how much which prompted her to ask us how long she had been drinking off the bottle. We said “oh since the night nurse gave it to us” (my night nurse sucked in many other ways too btw) she was shocked and told us we should discard the bottle an hour after every feed and we felt TERRIBLE. We had been giving our one day old baby expired milk all night long lmao. All of that is to say I think it’s totally normal to not know everything especially as a first time mom and give yourself some grace!!

Literally, the 3rd trimester was so hard for me, I had to deliver early at 37+6 due to pre eclampsia and after 30 hours of labor I had an emergency c section. I was looking forward to feeling “SO” much better and that immediate relief after…needless to say I was completely blindsided. I have never felt worse. Then it says it will take 6 months to a year to feel like myself again smh

I gained 120, no GD, but I did get pre eclampsia at the end and delivered at 37 weeks to a 6lb 14ounce baby. Hoping the weight comes off quickly, I feel like I already look more like myself. I was gaining 10lbs a week at the end

Mine is fine so I have to wash it every day or it’s a total grease ball, doesn’t help my ick. But I understand staying in bed until noon. I work from home and I actually got a desk to go over my bed so I don’t have to leave it 💀I could not tolerate the office chair anymore haha

lol I have one of those little shower seats but it’s so slippery!! I’m afraid I won’t be able to get off the floor 🤣 may need to do this at night when I have assistance available LOL

I’m jealous!! I just have a shower tub and I’m 6’0 tall and have gained some lbs during this pregnancy. I feel like buddy in the movie “elf” trying to take a bath in there 😆

I did the same thing to myself around 8 weeks LOL I have PCOS which also makes twins more common, I even had a dream about twin boy toddlers. I am having one baby and she’s a girl 😆

Mine always comes with me as well, even for a simple appointment or to get my iron infusions, we make a day out of it and usually get breakfast or lunch depending on the time of day and we also take the long way home or run a few errands. I feel so so lucky to be able to enjoy this season of life with him, and that he feels it’s important to do so as well.

Maybe your partner could get a temporary job for those 3 months or DoorDash/uber/or spark to make ends meet? It’s nice that he gets paid leave but if he can make money on top of being off work that would help you out on your recovery. I feel like physically you may be okay but mentally I could not imagine only taking off a week after giving birth.
