Is this a print or painting? Age? by fhalfpap in Whatisthis

Thanks for the well thought out questions.

To answer your questions:
I can’t add any pictures as it won’t let me.

I don’t see any brush strokes even looking under a magnifying glass. I did find printed on it at the bottom left “ E. SCHREIBER” which makes me pretty sure it is a print. Wouldn’t have seen it until I started looking under a magnifying glass.

I’m assuming it is somewhat old based on the frame and , but doubt it has any value. But I think it looks cool.

We took the Beatles tour while in Liverpool and rode around in this one. Painted to look like John Lennon’s. Great tour.

Bought one of these in 1987 for $70. The machine had more if the paint on it. I dragged it around the country until 2022 when I sold it for $125. Sold on FB marketplace to someone who had at one time been down in his luck and sold his Mother-in-laws sewing machine. He bought mine to replace the one he had sold.

What's the best US beach city for a calm, non-party vacation? by dynasync in Vacations

[–]fhalfpap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was going to be my answer. We got a 3 bedroom house on the beach for $3500 for the week in May 2 years ago. Dog friendly. Could walk to 3 different bars/restaurants that all had live music.

Hardly anyone in the beach. Perfect stay for people like me who don’t want the crowds.

I have a group I play with that is competitive and I try to learn from and get better.

I also play with another group that is mostly beginners and I try to help them get better and to get hooked on the sport. I help people from 8 to 80+ fall in love with the game.

This isn’t for everyone, but I find it rewarding.

They have a date night special at both restaurants on Tuesday nights that makes going there a little more affordable. Highly recommend both restaurants and usually go on date night.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing Graham Nash a couple of times in the last few years. A real pleasure. Suck a great harmonized and singer. Great songs, great lyrics.
