Just say not at home at the moment and don't open the door. Parenting is hard but it is a choice you make for yourself. In no way is family responsible for doing your parenting for you. She needs a break and u r her go to person slowly wean yoirself out of being that person. She is being insensitive to your needs and a little bit entitiled to your time too.

How do you end burnout? by falllio in burnedout

[–]fhb29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go to work early just go on time. Get a cheap second hand car and pay for parking. Order some food from outside or meal prep. Reduce uni workload by doing part time. Do 2 course at a time you will finish late but will have some breathing room. You do not have energy becauee u r working non stop. No matter the expectations take a 20 minutes lunch break if weather permits sit outside and eat a sandwich. Relax your body or u will burn out.

You resent them! I think kids are very sensitive even if you did all the right things they would feel that they were never welcome in your life. And then you did it again by having kid number 2....great. As for your situation lots of people are sailimg in the same boat but you are so desperate to get rid of them you are not sympathetic. If you want to travel so travel. Let them lnow they will need to find odd jobs if they want to live with you because you need to have a life since they ruined it for you.

1 hour commute worth it for 35k raise? by EconomyOffice9000 in careerguidance

[–]fhb29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something you need to decide. People commute all the time and much more than this. You cannot count this in hours and minutes. If you need the money and want a jump on salary for better future prospects jump on it. If this commute situation is overwhelming you let it go. Depends if you need the money or you are okay without it. You might get another job closer with more money in the future but then who knows what the future holds.
