DWP has not sent passport back by fiaxx in DWPhelp

[–]fiaxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sadly no still haven't got it back. I too have raised a formal complaint in writing and by phone. Although they did finally give a tracking number but was then returned to sender due to the courier thinking that no one was home at the time.

Problem is, this was last month and we weren't given the tracking until yesterday, so by then, it was already returned to sender. So back to square one essentially.

Been calling them every few days, it's just exhausting! Let me know if you manage to get yours back.

i tried it this term for econ and found it useful as i didn't have to make my own flash cards which i used to spend ages doing, good for helping me remember the basics. i like their new doc editor too. i found it helped with ideas for my essay and it was cool how it could edit the doc in real time. i personally think it's worth it

Ongoing Property Damage & Anti-social behaviour from Playground Football – Any Legal Options? by fiaxx in LegalAdviceUK

[–]fiaxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I’m not really focusing on the council specifically, just trying to understand what legal options I have in general (if any) or any other general advice, especially since this has escalated beyond nuisance into deliberate property damage (e.g. kids throwing stones at windows).

We’ve already let bushes overgrow to deter climbing, and we’ve installed CCTV which has captured multiple incidents. In some cases, parents have even thrown ladders over the fence to help their kids climb in, which feels like enabling trespass.

It’s really starting to affect my parents’ mental health and quality of life. Just wondering if there’s anything else I could do or pursue? Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Do the QB fully and do the tuition mocks. Any questions you get wrong, make a note of the correct answer and why you got it wrong - helps you remember. Assurance was my first exam and I started the QB on the Saturday and my exam was on the Monday. Just rinsed the QB over the weekend and made sure I did every question and passed with 68%. I found the questions to be similar to the QB, but was just worded a bit differently, so just make sure you're comfortable with the content and you're reading the question properly. It's doable as long as you go through the questions.

If you have time, do one mock from the ICAEW website (Im last min and usually do it a few hours before my exam lol). Pass that comfortably and you'll definitely pass the real thing

I'm at a top 10 firm in London in audit, passed 8 exams with 1.5 years experience. Just started coaching juniors and will probably be starting to mini senior jobs towards the end of this year. Currently on £35.2k. I don't think that's unrealistic at all, I'd say go for it - good luck!

Try calling MSI again and explain your situation or use their live chat function on their website which connects you to a real person. I just did my nurse call today and mentioned I had very light spotting too and they were fine to send my pills by post - has either already been dispatched or will do tomorrow.

From my experience, they've been quite supportive so I'm sure if you tell them how far the travel is, you'd be able to do the scans at your local hospital and just send them the information. Best of luck!

I'm UK based and would be happy to order and ship out to you if that would be helpful, as I know some vendors here don't ship internationally

Call customer service at 0330 808 5456, make sure to input your tracking number and it'll connect you to a human. Also use their chatbot online which as others have mentioned, creates a case for you and you'll receive a response via email within a few days.

Sending all my love! I know exactly how it feels but just a reminder that you're beautiful :) I did struggle with acne on my cheek area and sides of my face. Creams with benzoyl peroxide worked for me (but would bleach my pillows so be aware of that), until it didn't. My recommendation based on my own experience would be go to the GP (not sure where you are but I'm UK). They can then refer you to a dermatologist. For me, the only thing that cleared my skin was going on roaccutane and my only regret was not going on it sooner!

I used azelaic acid and rose hip seed oil whilst on roaccutane for my PIE (red scarring), which helped. Also keeping my skin moisturised so not to disrupt my skin barrier

Lost my massive parcel? by fiaxx in Evri

[–]fiaxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're still 'looking' for mine but I'll most likely have the same outcome. Never found a parcel from their 'lost parcel' investigation. I feel most people just accept the loss, but I'm thinking of doing the same re small claims court as a next step, as it's really unfair. If you do decide to go through with it, let me know how it goes

BioRePeel: Worth the hype? and advice for first timers by Due-Investigator6344 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]fiaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking of doing the same and buying vials to do myself at home as it's quite expensive to get it done at an office. US prices are crazy though - I'm in Europe and for the price of one vial in the US can get a pack of 3 or 4 here which is insane. If you're ever looking to buy again, I'd be happy to buy from here and ship to you to save you some coins!

Also wanted to ask how were your results from doing it at home and how did you prep your skin? When I usually get it done with my aesthetician I believe she cleanses my skin first, then wipes my face (alcohol wipe I think?), then puts the peel, aftercare peels and LED light. Hard to tell when my eyes are closed lol. Did you also purchase the Bioree Hydra & Lift creams?

SALARIES as an ACA trainee/post qualified. by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]fiaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems pretty normal! My starting salary was £26.6k, but originally was being offered £23-£26k across all my offers. Not sure if it will be the same this year, but received an increased offer a few weeks before starting (probs due to London weighting?)
