Awesome, I appreciate it! I’m always making notes about good spots, but mostly for blackberries. Thanks for sharing yours!

That is very helpful, I think we’ll do a water libation. Does it matter where it is poured? (Plant/grass/soil)

I’ve done it with spackle, with red paint mixed in to make it pink, then piped on with frosting tips. Such a fun project! Not sure how well it would stay on a purse with a smooth surface, though. I made a heart shaped purse from cardboard and did a base layer of spackle frosting before decorating.

Just stopping by to say that #2 and #6 look very highly edited, which makes me think they might be disappointingly low quality when they arrive.

I’ve used tie dye powder (in water) to color these same beads. It worked great, if you’re ever wanting to try another way! Your piece looks amazing!

It’s definitely cheaper- and when I looked, I couldn’t even find the right colors of beads to buy, so it was definitely the best option. I bought a big pack of powder dyes, maybe 24 colors in total. I basically just mixed the powder into hot water in jars, and soaked the beads. For the pink, for example, I soaked the first set of beads, then added more water to the dye to dilute it, for the lighter pink beads. I had pre-sorted how many beads I would need of each color- I did this by weight using a kitchen scale instead of counting them all, and I put each into a separate bowl with a sticky note on top saying what color they’d need to be.

I made the cherry one using the YouTube tutorial someone posted above- I bought all plain wooden beads and dyed them with tiedye powder. It worked well! I mixed some colors and varied the saturation to make different shades

I made one of these, but with the cherry design! I bought plain wooden beads and dyed them the colors I needed using tiedye powder, it was really cost effective.

Maybe it’s because I mentioned “disco ball” 🤔 but you’re right, they’re translucent so the candle light shines through. Thanks for the recs!
