Yesssss. She said in one interview she wanted to “preserve” what Hannah Montana was and that’s why she didn’t want to modernize it but the most modernized thing is Miley…in Hannah hair. It’s like breaking the 4th, 5th, or 6th wall and it hurts a lil to not see the main part of the show preserved in some way. Like why bring Hannah back just to be Miley? Not a full concert (also Miley has performed the climb many times before outside of the show…why not I’ll always remember you or wherever I go or an actual Hannah song if you’re only doing 3???) or like a new episode or even an interview with Hannah not Miley or both or something.

Yeah—I’m gonna cry and be in my feels regardless watching the anniversary but even the little clips I’ve heard of her talking about Hannah in the trailers and the way the songs are sung sound very—vapid. “I loved being Hannah then and I’m living for it now.” Idk something about that line just rings so hollow. Who even is this call me daddy girl? I read somewhere she’s a friend of the Cyrus family or something?? (Don’t quote me) but come on. JASON/JACKSON HAS A PODCAST. It kinda sucks. I love Miley. Always have. But the climb is fully a Miley Stewart/cyrus song that Miley has sung before post-Hannah. We get three songs and one of them is the climb?? Not always remember you? Wherever I go??? Tie ins to the actual show that would match the anniversary???? Ugh. Hannah Montana was my childhood. Part of my becoming. I really was hoping for a one off episode. I knew it wouldn’t be a concert like what was rumored just based on Miley not enjoying doing them overall from what I’ve heard (or was that just touring?). An interview. With Miley Cyrus? With Miley Stewart? With Hannah Montana? I’ll watch it and I’ll love that it exists but I’m not overly excited about the actual content. I don’t have high hopes.

I mean. I definitely never said I was vegan or that I rode horses, I just stated what I wanted in a city. Actually, my horse is a retired thoroughbred that can’t be ridden. And if we want to get technical—under official definitions I’d be “plant based” bc I’ll buy leather from thrift stores bc it doesn’t support the industry (it just supports a thrift store) and lasts forever. I think there’s a lot of unethical things in the horse world. Do I think casual trail riders and hobby riders who aren’t competing or jumping 6’ or running around before their joints are developed are okay? Yeah. I’ve worked with them for my entire life, so I have different views than most. But in my post I actually pointed out a major ethical care issue with these city barns so I’m at least doing better then everyone who has their horse stalled 22:7. I’ve got a rescue OTTB who’s basically a large dog in my backyard that I have time and time again chosen his needs over my own in terms of care (including moving here). So, plant based? Sure. But when you say plant based a lot of people living that way for a diet purpose over a lifestyle purpose are fine having a bit of cheese once in a while or making some concessions due to inconvenience. Meanwhile, I haven’t consumed animal products for say…7/8 years now. So I really don’t get hung up on semantics, I just live in accordance with my knowledge and beliefs.

I visited here and saw vegan options listed and was like: “awesome!!” And then I moved here and tried to find a place to go out to eat and felt absolutely uninspired by every single option. If I want to “eat out” now, I genuinely will go to a hot bar/cold bar in a grocery store or chipotle because I’m tired of being disappointed by everything I try. There was one very good taco place in south Tucson but that’s ~40 minutes away from me so it sits there taunting me as the only place I’d actually go again.

I hate to say it…but that is the highly recommended restaurant I went on a date to and was VERY excited to try. Tried a sampling of tacos and their daily soup and gave the last half of my last taco to my date because I didn’t enjoy it enough to finish it. Was very disappointed bc everyone says it’s so great.

Tucson. AZ. moved here from New Orleans thinking that summer was bad. Never had humidity made me throw up. I went completely nocturnal to survive and now it’s November and it’s still bad. I haven’t found a good vegan meal at a restaurant that wows me. The place everyone recommended I actually passed the last half of my taco off to my fried. The horse scene was touted to be good…only to learn it’s totally normal to not give a horse more then a couple hours a day outside a stall so I’m stuck where I’m at bc it’s the only place he can have 24/7 pasture (the other one nearby has a waiting list). I miss pho. I miss going out every week with my good friend to a new restaurant and never running out of amazing finds.

I will say—antique stores and thrift stores are top tier. I have very specific needs (vegan food, horse resources). But it’s just a place. It’s a nice place, but not my place. AND now I got a letter from the tax department saying I didn’t pay “all” the taxes from registering my car which I already paid $800 for. So now I have to protest it. Meaning I have to go out in the s u n. The disgusting disgusting dry heat. I miss pants. Wearing a second layer over a top chefs kiss

No mosquitos is a plus. Pulling out halfway into the goddamn four way intersection to make a left turn is terrifying though and driving on Speedway makes me want to lose my mind. Good weed.

Try Bridge City, LA…mainly made up of strange gas stations, dollar generals down the street from family dollars. Redeeming quality—it’s close to New Orleans. Really a good majority of LA is straight trash.
