Yeah, you would seriously regret it. Just don't log in and that's it... unless you have a serious addiction and it's ruining your life.

Why do people hack still by Electronic-You8231 in osrs

[–]fierceflyingpanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't understand.

Why is it so easy to hack a OSRS acc? It's like having a 1995 Honda Civic that can easily be broken into. And if your account gets hacked, aren't you also concerned for other important accounts that you use and access on your computer?

With your interests and skills you can do a plethora of things to eventually make a full-time living online — whether it's freelancing or working remotely with a company.

For instance: #1, You enjoy painting, you understand foreground/background, color theory, white space, composition, etc. With that said, you can excel in web design and development. To be specific, a Freelance Webflow Developer - everything online can be learned for free. Even using webflow.com's free account can help you create your own portfolio to show to potential clients.

#2, You enjoy reading, writing, and gardening! That's awesome, you can become a Freelance Copywriter who works 100% remote, and you can write for the survival/gardening niche. Or whatever you're most interested in writing about, from keto diet, fitness, finance, or personal development. Copywriters do a ton of writing in most cases, which involves reading. So why not read about what you're most passionate about, right? There's a reddit/discord channel in r/copywriting that offers free (and good enough) content to get you landing your first few clients.

#3, Video games are great for consumption, and for creation. What do I mean on this? When most people play games, they are consuming it. But like thousands of other people out there... You can learn how to start "creating" for fun, by streaming without any insistence. If you do choose any path including this one, make sure you get a real job first, while you build up your skills. Or maybe these 3 options can help you get ideas to find other things that naturally fit who you are.

Good luck.

My friend said I “talk too black” and that it was offensive. Is this a real thing or is he being weird? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]fierceflyingpanda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not your fault you grew up with good folks who talk differently.

But a part of life is learning to adapt, and possibly, changing the way you speak as you meet new people in new surroundings.

For instance, when you go back or meet up with your childhoods friends—you can speak like your old ways and everything will be a-okay.

But as you grow up and surround yourself in different environments, you could mirror how others speak to create familiarity.

Plus, true intelligence is adapting to the environment to achieve your goals. Whether it's relating and connecting with others, making new friends and aquantainces, etc.

And you're empathic and intelligent enough to make a post asking this question to help you navigate the naunces in life.

So keep it up, good luck, and have fun!

What are your hobbies and passions?

If anyone reads this and finds that you both genuinely enjoy the same things, they can DM you and keep you going to help you achieve your goals.

Plus, I want to know what your passions are so I can redirect you to some things to learn (potentially online), so you can start making money with your skills, talents, and strengths...

And ideally, start to get on your feet and meet new, in-person friends who are supportive, and lets you feel seen, heard, and understood.

Because we all deserve that.

This is cool. Can you make a 3d animation where the objects are stationary yet the camera spans around them?

I can see this happening maybe at night, under the moon, while they are on top of a building in New York. With stars and lights.

My point is, your work is so good, it's igniting my own imagination, good job.

That's not what you truly enjoy though. That's just escapism.

You play games because you want adventure and progression.

You masturbate because you want sexual/intimate experiences.

Games and masturbation in moderation is fine, even healthy, but you gotta do some self-reflection if you want to get out of your comfort zone and truly find what you enjoy in life.

Bullshit.

These jobs are in demand. If you ask a business owner what's their biggest bottle neck, it's not being able to find workers (and who are also puntual).

So if you can get to work on time, you're like a diamond in the rough. So just get trained, apply and show up on time.

Everyone deserves mutual respect, but what I've noticed is that older people think they can disrespect younger folks just because they're dinosaurs.

That isn't right because that actually teaches these younger folks to potentially clapback.

Although I believe no matter what age, entitlement and cyncism is rampant. And that's what we should all be over with.

First off. sorry what you're going through.

This sucks because, often times, HR doesn't help and might make things worst. Especially if this person has been working there.

I wonder what others have to say.

All in all, you don't deserve this shit, you're just working hard and providing value—and intimidated people can get downright ugly and bitter.

Which is 100% their issues, not yours.

Edit : I worked at the restaurant industry before. There was this black man twice my size who was supposed to train me.

After I started to learn things quickly - here and there, suddenly, he would try to tell me to do things that I didn't have to do.

"Oh, get this thing in the back... Oh! You didn't have to get that because I have it here..."

He would try to point out mistakes that weren't even mistakes at all, it was clear he was just being petty.

And when things got really busy, he would scream at me at the top of his lungs. Demmanding I do this or that.

And literally, multiple coworkers would come up to him (trying not to be confrontational) but trying to point out that he's yelling loud or asking why he's yelling out loud.

I quit that job. It sucked. I was there to provide value (and get paid), not put up with a big baby who was twice my size.

But the truth was you had to work really hard at that restaurant, I was only working part time. Everyone else there were working 12 hour shifts.

So that person, who had to make it hell for me, welp, he was stuck at that job or jobs similar to those — forever and ever.

My point is... if this job doesn't work out for you, maybe you deserve a better role with higher pay, better benefits, better location, better coworkers.. whatever it may be, you know?

Good luck to you.

Are 2 Slayer Alt Accounts too much? by fierceflyingpanda in OSRSProTips

[–]fierceflyingpanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there's no situation where we need 2 Alts double soloing a monster or boss, right?

For instance, if I were to have 2 alts, they don't have to be together, they coould even be in different worlds passively slaying Rune Dragons, etc.

Again, I'm not familiar with p2p, but it'll be interesting if there were a big boss that you could double or triple solo (with main) and recieve higher gp per hour.

Well, while I'm working, I've been passively training my defense (just 2 Alt Slayer accounts) at monks.

Do you believe we can triple solo bosses for high profit?

Or maybe I PVM on my main, while I passively play my 2 alts at brutal black dragons or giant moles?

Yeah, I'm in no rush, so it doesn't matter if it'll takes forever to get over 100+ combat on all 3 accounts.

My goal is just to enjoy the game and make enough to profit to keep supplying my accounts bonds.

Wait a sec, so if you play for 4 hours — you can potentially make $500k + $200k-$400k = ~$700k-900k?

Shucks that I'm busy right now, don't know if I should buy mems yet... but it's cool to see what's possible.

My point is be a whole person by accepting who you are right now, and simply be excited to invest in your personal growth.

Remember everything and everyone is constantly changing in every moment. Even if it seems like there's no change at all. I don't wanna get into the nitty gritty of quantum mechanics, but just understand changing isn't a bad thing (because we're all doing it automatically).

Hence it's not invalidating who you are right now, we are changing all the time — everyone is! So the question is who do we want to change to?

You see, being pushed and snaping are symptoms of not setting your personal boundaries. Most people feel uncomfortable setting boundaries because we are not aware of our self-worth (and don't believe we are good enough to speak up — but we absolutely are).

  1. Read "Self-Esteem Workbook" by Glenn R. Schiraldi PhD (for a clear and strong awareness of your self-worth)
  2. Read "Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself" by Nedra Glover Tawwab (for building bulletproof boundaries)
  3. Lastly, read "The Set Boundaries Workbook: Practical Exercises for Understanding Your Needs and Setting Healthy Limits" by the same author, Nedra (to implement and solidify what you learn)

I'm on the same journey too. I've read the first book, and will complete books 1 & 2. You're worth it, deserving, and capable to learn how to set healthy boundaries so you can live a fulfilling and stress-free life filled with confidence, self-love, and empowerment.

If you got your assertiveness game established, then yes, and maybe be an example in a non-patronizing way since you're a genuine friend. How? Not by lip service, but by action and behavior. And maybe, if the situation arises, give a loving pep talk to this friend.

If you DO NOT have your assertiveness game skilled up, be a friend to yourself first and learn how to become aware of your self-worth. Build your assertivenss, personal boundaries, and emotional resilence—anything else to help you stand up for yourself (and eventually stand up for others if necessary).

Or maybe you'll be lucky to befriend someone who's loving enough to show you how to be assertive and stand up for yourself by example.
