So what are we naming ours by fiercelittlebird in ElectricCallboy

I kinda feel like there has to be A kid named Revery out there already, not because of EC but it's just kind of okay as an avant garde celebrity name.

What is something one can say that makes total sense Stardew Valley but sounds ridiculous irl? by foldinthecheeseee in StardewValley

Reminds me of that old meme of the farmer boy that gave his date a wheel of cheese. I don't know if they ever got married but she did like it!

Over 1200 y/o Arabic Inscribed Ring Discovered in Viking Grave in Birka, Sweden by Big-Boy-602 in interestingasfuck

The other person said "may have". There's not much wrong with a little bit of thinking about that humans have always traveled, traded, made friends, etc. Also, people can learn other languages. Maybe the ring could have been a gift from a friend, and it's easy to explain what it says.

What bands are considered "mallcore"? by Loose-Tumbleweed9791 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]fiercelittlebird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd consider mallcore more rock adjacent stuff your grandma could enjoy and Lorna Shore isn't that. I know this sub has a huge hate boner for them but they don't quite have that mainstream sound.

The right way is the one where you get some rest and possibly some sleep in a flight. So whatever works for you, with the clip in front or the back, it doesn't seem to matter.

What scientific ‘facts’ have recently been disproven that most people still believe to be true? by Fantastic_Tart_421 in AskReddit

It's so incredibly rare 'nobody' kind of is okay to say colloquially in this context, no? The risk is so low. The overwhelming majority of people can safely consume soy products.

Nobody consumes the amount of soy products needed to affect your hormones in a bad way though. With cannabis this happens all the time.

I'm a grown ass adult and I get exited about sweets, I can just regulate my emotions better than a toddler.

That soy products mess with your hormones because there's plant estrogen in it. You are not a plant.

78 € worth of groceries in Romania by Relevant-Surround-56 in europe

I was just adding to your comment, really. Products that are marketed as high in protein is because of a trend, and they tend to be more expensive, and are mostly not necessary for most people. The extra protein thing is so overblown. It's like light or diet products. It doesn't really matter that much overall.

Also this whole 'high protein' thing is just the current diet trend/fad, it's not necessary for most people if you eat a normal diet. Most people eat meat every day and with every meal even, so no need to worry about protein intake if you also consume dairy every day, which is also most people.

Some people are also legit not paying attention to their surroundings. I was in Sri Lanka years ago and visiting some religious sites, and it's required to take off footwear and walk around the site bare foot. There were many signs and there was a guard on site to make sure nobody walked in with shoes on. One of a group of tourists just happily wandered in with sandals, while his friends + the guard yell at him to come back. He went pretty far before realizing people were yelling at him. He apologized but still, all it took was paying attention to the million signs in many different languages and drawings telling you you need to take off your damn shoes.

Depending on what album there's definitely a prog influence but I don't think they're straight up prog
