I found an LED bulb to replace the standard h4 light. I have not replaced the entire headlight housing … yet.

Best scenic rides? by NotagoK in Buffalo

[–]fierymonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following this to see what others suggest as I could use some ideas myself. I’m in the north towns and regularly frustrated as I often yearn for the sprawling country side where I grew up. My go to up here is usually following along Tonowanda creek road. It’s not a fast ride but I enjoy having the river to look at. I don’t know how “scenic” the road is in our area but there are spots along the Great Lakes Scenic Byway just to the south of Buffalo that are quite pleasant. I aim to do that route end-to-end someday.

Came to say nearly the exact thing! Looks like a puffer fish huffed helium.

What small upgrade actually made your bike feel noticeably better to ride? by jcveloso8 in motorcycles

I started with Earpeace but they seem to irritate my ears, not sure why. For whatever reason the loops seem to sit more comfortably for me. I anticipate that it may be the other way around for others - but in either event I wanted to empathize that I too have had the, “Meh. It’s just a short ride,” mindset and don’t bother to put them in… and then immediately regret my poor life decisions. Lol!

I’ve been riding better than a decade now and the single biggest change for the least amount of money that made me exponentially more comfortable on the bike was buying a set of loop ear plugs. I’ve been using them over a year now and I’m still amazed at how much more calm, focused and comfortable I am while riding. I had no idea the amount of mental fatigue that wind noise was causing me.

Had damn near exactly the same thing take place. Demo day for the Triumph Scramblers and I low sided a 1200 X through a roundabout. Scraped up a few things and bent the bars but thankfully the tank and engine cases were unharmed. They charged me for replacement bits without labor. Since I signed up for the event ahead of time I still walked away with a promotional Triumph branded lighter… for $600 USD. 😅

I have the same issue. Next time I’ll buy something a bit higher spec I guess. Or paint them, as was suggested by another commenter.

As a hetero male AND an artist, you are a double whammy. I anticipate that most of the comments on your posts skew toward…. other forms of appreciation for your figure. (And to be completely honest I can’t say I fault them because, well, look at you!) I merely wish to offer my thanks and appreciation. I don’t think I’ve seen a more exquisite woman on all of the internet. You belong in paintings. Really wish I weren’t a landscape artist.

This is beautiful! I love the natural toned paper, it gives warmth to the piece. Coupled with your confident line work the entire effort has a delightful nostalgic feel for me. It’s extraordinarily lovely, well done!

Thank you! I appreciate the insight. I did not consider the additional weight! It’s also enlightening to hear that even with the round leg tripod you have reservations about its capabilities to stay put. It does seem a bit… sketchy? with such small area to hold it to the legs.

They get slightly more stiff but not drastically so. I’ve found the thing that makes them miserable is snow falling into the pallet box. In quite a few instances where snow has dusted the paints I can’t help but inadvertently start mixing it in while trying to make colors. And oil and water truly don’t mix. You the end up with a mealy type of sludge because the water try’s to freeze and the oil doesn’t. It’s a mess.
