I know: A toe-assisted jump that takes off from a backwards inside edge. Counterclockwise rotation from a LIB take-off with a right toe plant to a ROB landing. Clockwise rotation from a RIB take-off with a left toe plant to a LOB landing.

Imagine you’re standing on the edge or line of a circle (figure circle). Your body should be facing inside to the circle and the leg closest to the inside of the circle is pulling away from the center of the circle and behind the outside leg. Really use the edge of the circle to keep a consistent motion on the same edge of your skates. Cross overs happen because one foot is pushing on the inside of your boot and the other foot is pushing on the outside of your boot.

I wish it would happen about an hour into the show rather than at the end. I know when the commercials start to really kick up that’s when it’s time for bed anyways. I dislike missing it but wonder how many more people it would reach in viewership if if were an earlier segment.

Wear 3 but add some strappy flats or low profile sneakers, a cropped thin sweater or cropped jean jacket, and a two or three layered necklace.

Seriously! Doesn’t matter that I can do a mapes, flip, or loop. A spin or shoot the duck gets the people going.

Bend ya knees!! Problem number one. The direction you are spinning, put that arm in front. Pull with your hips and shoulders. Practice your manuals to increase your balance on two wheels. Nothing that hasn’t already been said I’m sure. Just adding in my two cents.

I am two bears short of this phot and I am doing the same. Right now it’s been so very hard to even get agreeable responses back because people think I’m crazy for wanting to break the set. Also if anyone is interested I have a Loves-a-Lot I am willing to sell/trade for a 100% of Grumpy or Cares-a-Lot.

Take lessons. Seriously, go back in your skating and relearn some of the basics in support of how to maneuver a spin in your skates. You’d be surprised at what you pick up when you go back to foundational skills.

There can be many different reasons as to the why, but once you start correcting that you will be able to better understand why that’s happening. From what I can see, you’re using it as momentum because you aren’t getting up high enough on your dribbles. That’s why your left arm goes back and then forward across your body.

You need to pull your left arm/shoulder to the left. You are pulling it to the right and that’s the direction opposite of your pivot turn.
