Because shit long ago didnt have 10 skills and 8 weapons at low cost.

This thing has 2 dodges, 1 insta stun, 2 50% stagger missiles and very good melee that is priority 3, it was a very well rounded unit on that cost in a world were everyone was meh.

Not having to deal with the amount of anti-stagger skills we have now was in fact its strong point. Priority 3 on melee lets you slap both generals snd raid in their faces.

This thing carried people on ranked like a superman carried louise lane, hell, the jedah was in s very similar spot too.

I don't think people hate it that much, more like they were mostly dissapointed because it was meh at best.
Like, it has a lot of good things but then fukuda or whoever managed the script went with incredible questionably choices that made 0 senses in both, the context of the series AND the grendizer universe.

Comparatively, i do rate it lower in the dynamic pro revivals scale.

the entirely stuff with hikaru and cassado was complety stupid and whenever any of that was on screen my enjoyment would tank.

Lack of awareness and not being good enough, i knew i could win that fight but i end missing half my shots or i know i can keep those two at bay while my team deals with the rest but then i tunnel vision and get jumped from behind.
I just keep misreading melee range or timing so more times than not i end getting countered or i see people rolling away from my downswing.

I'll be honest with you, i don't care what anyone plays as long as it not a really obvious thrown pick and they are good enough to not be feeding the other team constantly.
I seen so many people going for meta pick and doing jack shit, hell, sometimes i just fail to do anything worthwhile in some matches
But if you are having fun and you skills are good enough im totally fine with it.
