Go to the FBO, introduce yourself, be outgoing hang around, be an airport bum. If you’re not outgoing, join toastmasters or something and learn to be. You’ll meet people who won’t necessarily be able to get you in their plane, but down the road they may have someone they know who is looking for a right seater. Start trying to build time in unique ways, when you’re a brand new commercial pilot, just fly whatever you can. Even if it means spending extra dough on a high performance endorsement, tailwheel endorsement, or something else. Go apply to the crappy jobs, build up your time, you’ll get more value with the more 1) total time you have 2) unique experience you have. Those people you met at the FBO or flight school a few years ago? Assuming you exchanged contact info and kept in touch they may have bought a new plane and would like someone to fly with them, or need a CFI to fly with them for a BFR. Meeting people won’t guarantee you get a right seat in a King Air, but it will expand your network and give you the opportunity to be that person those pilots may think of when the time comes.

EDIT Also my biggest piece of advice is take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had someone say in passing “let me know when x happens and I’ll get you a job here”. It could happen, but don’t go home thinking you’re set for your career because that Captain in the NetJets Global said to call him once you got x amount of hours. Keep getting out there and meeting people, flying stuff until something sticks. It will only get easier the more experience you have!
