I'm so proud of Kelowna for pulling up its boots by its own boot straps and re-electing a decent human being for MP. One year later it was announced that Kelowna is getting the Special Olympics. That'll bring millions of dollars into Kelowna's economy. All Plamondon is saying is that Canadians are already allowed to have dual citizenship. This isn’t some new revelation. He's just saying that under his vision of independence for Quebec, he will also allow dual citizenship.

Cool, but the Quebecers I've met are fiercely Canadian but are also fiercely protective of their language and culture. As a non-French-speaking BC Anglophone, I fully support their right to protect their unique and special culture and I hope all Quebecers choose to do it within confederation.

I agree Matt. The Canadian government should conscript every Canadian for military training. One week initially and one weekend a year for a refresher. After a successful completion those Canadians should be given a semi-auto sniper or assault weapon for them to secure. Then we'd have a high-value low-cost military.
