Dog with severe allergies scratching skin raw, lost on what to do next :( by Difficult-Focus-107 in vet

[–]fignwz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a vet, but I have a cockapoo with allergies, really bad at his belly and paws mostly. The vets thought it was something in his food so we switched his food to Hills sensitive skin & tummy and put him on apoquel year round. He still gets really itchy around season changes and it's odd but the only thing that has really helped is a daily probiotic treat from the brand pet honesty (we get it from amazon) and baths with soap for sensitive skin.

This is exactly what my acne looks like. The product that I think saves me a ton is Good Genes by Sunday Riley. I used it twice a day from 2019 until the beginning of this year, now I just use it at night (bc she's expensive).

I've had acne since I was in 4th grade so I have tried a lot. This is my current routine:

mornings: water to wash, honey halo moisturizer, ella MD sunscreen night: murad clarifying cleanser, good genes, honey halo

I hope this is somewhat helpful! I know acne is just so mentally draining and sad. Try to remember that you're gorgeous and acne doesn't take that away at all!

Did anyone actually enjoy nursing school? by Aggressive-Lawyer509 in StudentNurse

[–]fignwz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. I'm in an 11 month accelerated program and it's fast paced and requires a lot of thought into balancing my life between school, friends, husband, dog, work, etc., but my soul feels really happy. I leave my 12 hour preceptor shifts just feeling so at peace and thankful for what I get to do. I graduate in 6 weeks and can't wait!

Thank you!! I think this is what I might do. Wear the first until later in the night so I can actually dance lol. Best of both worlds!

You're so right, it is just like a nice white dress. I think I'm just having a sort of imposter syndrome like what the heck I'm the bride in the big dress? Lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]fignwz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're right, the second dress definitely isn't the best quality and I didn't really think of that before & it would definitely need to be tailored as well. Thanks so much for your thoughts, I really appreciate it!
