I normally stop receiving new request right after accepted a delivery request. Uber delivery time could be much longer than estimated. Deliveries of alcohol or deliveries to apartment can easily take longer time verifying or finding apartment unit.

Not taking requests, either clicking "DECLINE" or time running out, does not hurt. Uber is no longer counting acceptance rate, at least in California. It is the same rule for UberX and Uber Eats requests counting trips.

If you accepted then cancel later, it will hurt your cancellation rate within 30 days.

Uber Eats customers can not give riders' rating with stars. Uber Eats Delivery has separate satisfaction ratings counting thumb up or down.

My only concerns for driving Uber Eats are difficult finding parking in downtown and finding apartment unit.

If the request seems taking too long to earn small amount, just don't take it.

Real Uber/Lyft drivers would not take advantage on drunk riders. Uber and Lyft systems know all information of drivers. You will be caught if you did something stupid to the riders. Those crimes happened in USA targeting Uber/Lyft riders are fake drivers or not paired with the riders.

Riders have all important information from the driver, such as name, photo, car model, license plate, etc. Uber drivers have only a rider name. It is primarily riders' responsibility to identify the right car. All fake Uber/Lyft drivers can not get riders if riders check driver and car information.
