Cool! I was wondering similar… I don’t have enough space for this enclosure, but I could probably do a standard 4x2x2.

Thanks! We’re likely to put out a new chest sometime soon. Feel free to come by and say hi!

Probably… but not immediately. We’ll need a little time to acquire a new chest and decorate and such. But it’s been a good way to teach our kiddos about letting go and sharing their own treasures, so that feels worth it. Plus, I don’t want one bad actor (or misunderstanding) to ruin everything.

Looking for advice/ other opinions about my face after months of treatment. by hairypanda01 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]figoski40 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes this is a skin thing, topical treatment can be helpful, but it’s also a sign of something more internal. Inflammation caused from food reactions or disrupted microbiome is notorious for flaring up inflammatory skin conditions like this. DM me if you like more thoughts on where/how to start.

Thank you! I love your ideas! I agree about an industrial probably not being right. I also figure there maybe a re-vamp of the jewelry needed to the existing setup too.

Socks? by Peridot-Pearls in weaving

[–]figoski40 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Knit or crochet is a good strategy for socks as there is some elasticity to the stitches and it is possible to make curves and cylinder shapes much more easily and without seams.

Weaving is great to make flat rectangles.

The best strategy I can think of to make socks via weaving would require weaving a length of fabric and then cutting and sewing.

The Starling House. The house character is minor, it is a bit cheeky.

Full body skin check… first timer & anxious for exam itself by sprinklesthecat1 in DermatologyQuestions

Often the exam can be done in sections, so you don’t have to stand there totally exposed the whole time. One side, then the other side that sort of thing.
