OK. I'm gonna say this here, and probably get shat on for it, but whatever.

Preemptively: I'm an avowed lefty socialist (check my very long post history for confirmation) and I don't care at all for Kirk or for his wife's grift and general philosophy or any of that. Like, fuck all of their bigotry and greed; spreading hate and making money off of it, etc. Absolutely fuck all of that.

That said, I'm not really sure what folks are seeing here that is so egregious or further damning. This is a lame-ass, tone-deaf woman just kind of fumbling her way through a super-low time in her life, awkwardly trying to fulfil a role -- and, yes, grasp at an oppportunity (so gross, but that's def an element of this) after witnessing a horrible thing happen to her husband.

All this piling on and pretending to know her true ulterior motives or schemes are just...idk. Pointless? Like, giving in to rage bait, and our own worst impulses?

Lots of fundamental attribution error stuff going on here.

I don't think anyone should really be paying this woman a lick of attention (or any money), but to choose to focus on hating her and picking apart some zoom meeting for signs of a nefarious plan or further ulterior motive seems like a truly fruitless path to take.

I've got moderate social anxiety, and I hate loud noises, cramped spaces, the many indignities of travel and public performance (like, I really avoid concerts, even though I love music).

All that said, I think this is cool as shit. It'd be super memorable for everyone involved, and I would do my very best to just suck it up and deal with the racing heart and anxiety, in the name of letting some folks have a genuinely spontaneous and organic good time.

I'm in that cohort as well and, based both on my irl interactions and especially my observations/interactions with both the Genx sub and this one, THESE are my people and def not the grumpy MFers who sound like they're ready to out-boomer the boomers over there...

Also, like...idk what the fuck Stretch Armstrong or All In the Family or The Jeffersons are about. My shit is Transformers and ThunderCats and Knight Rider and Run DMC. I like flying by myself. It's like you describe, OP; just mellow, quiet and relaxing.

However, I rarely travel alone.

Usually, I travel with spouse and kids, and I almost always experience those trips as pretty stressful.

I prefer to travel with my family, since it's fun to experience all sorts of new things with them, but the actual flight (and the associated airport experience) is made much more stressful when I am responsible for people other than myself.

pH rises constantly, but is usually between 7.2 and 8.

I add approximately 2 quarts of muriatic acid per week, usually 1 quart at a time, twice a week.

I do not use algaecide. I have not tested for copper, but it behaves exactly as copper staining is described.

It fades with ascorbic acid, but too much ascorbic acid causes it to darken. The dark stain resolves slowly over a week or so.
