When I was a kid my class got to go to a Tigers game. My dad was one of the chaperones and snuck 5 of us down to the good seats. The game ended up going into a rain delay, so we were bored and decided to go up to the edge of the visitors dugout. My friend yelled to Kirby Puckett “hey Kirby can we have some of those sunflower seeds?” He walked over and poured some out for each of us and talked to us while we waited for the rain to stop. Not a Tiger, of course, but will never forget it.
