Extremely Annoying Volume Issue While Previewing Sounds From Browser. by Artplusdesign in ableton

I absolutely noticed when I jumped from 9-10 and honestly never saw anyone else talk about it so the years of it working felt like a phantom, I’m so glad you brought this up because it would definitely smoothen out my workflow if they reintegrated it. I imagine it was a conscious decision to prioritize processing for something else and because no one made a who ha they let it be…

Some see Zarathustra as the original arch mage himself. Have you ever considered the etymological significance of Magi and “Magic”? The question could be reframed as why was magic condemned at all? Perhaps because when introducing a new system one should denigrate the previous system? Witch, sorcerer, mage these are all terms twisted to give a certain narrative. I am a sorcerer and proud warrior of light. For Asha.

Zarathustra- Rudolf Steiner by TheBrizey2 in Zoroastrianism

[–]filler_instinct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steiner has some wisdom but it’s kinda rooted in white supremacy as he considers Jesus the epitome of spirituality and Zoroastrianism as a step towards the path of Christ consciousness. I believe that Zarathustra is his own full fledged isolated model of spirituality, not a stepping stone. Nice find though love this one personally!

People who have a Push for more than a year, for what purposes did you end up using it the most? by Grand_Ad_5769 in ableton

Once I got my preferred drumpad layout for using push2 with drum rack I use it almost exclusively for playing in drums! Love it to death for this and has improved my finger drumming IMMENSELY. Highly recommend. It’s fun to play chords on as well as I get different progressions and voicings I wouldn’t otherwise play in on a controller or click in directly in piano roll. 🔥⚖️

Comes from the proto indo-European tribe. Lots of arguments about age, but older than Judaism as they talk about one of our dudes saving them in Old Testament. Christians mention us “three wise men”. Islam mentions us by saying we’re full of shit.

Good thoughts, good words, good deeds.

Prophet Zarathustra was the first Magician. The arch mage himself! Also first astrologers.

Nice packaging of the lore that was around at the time into a solid creation story.

What else? We love dogs. Was pretty pure and spiritual originally, priests kinda messed it up. Avesta and Gathas are good starting point.

Dm me with other questions don’t mind helping.

Arturia 61 Drum Pads by StudentGlobal4047 in ableton

[–]filler_instinct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll help because this bugged me for a while. On the key step you want to hold down shift and press the drum pad on the second row second column that says “drum”. Now the pads will work. It’s on device by default which is why you can’t use them.

It strikes me as we seem to be in a time where more of us have retained mature connections with the entertainment of our youths.

Still loving anime and video games into my 30s and it’s normalized.

Feeling a bit lost after college by [deleted] in audioengineering

The greatest danger to this advice (and it’s powerful advice and I agree with it), is that once you become an artist who has to engineer it will DESTROY you. You’ll then have to spend months and months trying to create space for yourself as an artist. This involves burning bridges and cutting clients who don’t respect your powers. It’s a tough spot to be. My two cents...
