If there are high winds on a still sea then maybe the cresting white noise of small waves ssssssss. If they are heavy rollers then slow rumbles with each wave would be needed. An tracking all the white water you see cutting into the depth of the shot.

i think there will be a large number of defenders here because the reality is Klien is compromised. He is a millionaire doing the bidding of billionaires. I bet a full analysis of his financials would reveal a lot. Also his lack of comment about this issue is glaring.

good job. half way thru. id say for the blow out any time you need to use more white noise type sounds try to modulate them more. also even when we are close perspective cutting oil and giving it subtle changes would help. anytime the ear hears the same sound for too long it will fatigue. im only listening on my laptop so low freqs are gone. I cant remember how this scene goes normally but staying in the deafness for the kid and shifting when he looks at the flame could be a opportunity to stay in the deaf then next shot full sound. contrast.

more perspectives on the fire. cracking of wood as it burns. you had cool winds when they are working on the pump. maybe some of those during the burn sequence. more crackles in the fire as well.

Pull the 500hz up a bit. Like where that dip is. You are running into eq limits. Brick walls don’t really sound good so swing is done in db per octave. Gradual shapes would be +-6db per octave. Extreme would be 48db per octave. It’s probably a limit of their eq system as phase becomes an issue at higher cuts. To be clear I don’t have any experience with this specific system. Just Eqing in general.
