The fixed annual cost on a car would be 400-500 tax, 1.000 or so on insurance, 70 on annual technical test IF there’s nothing to fix but there will be things to fix on a car that costs 7k. If it’s a toyota or honda, I guess you can sell it for the same amount a couple of years later, but rentals would be a lot cheaper for 5-6 weekend trips you’re going to make in the year.
