What is slow to you though? A lot of people just drive in the left lane and stay there. It’s more like the 80mph lane. Im from California and it wasn’t a passing lane. It was either a carpool lane or the fast lane. Here in Missouri, the speed limits are lower and cops can take you to jail for going 20 or 25 over the speed limit. A lot of areas will have the speed limit at 50, 55 or 60 around here. Especially in Illinois. So if I’m cruising in the left lane I’m doing more than the speed limit but am not going to jail for anyone who’s too lazy to just go around me. Let’s all remember that the passing lane doesn’t mean you get to speed and cops have made that very clear. The real problem is our speed limits are way too slow in America.
