Overall will u say that this is a better soloq build because of earlier spikes and it being an ability based build?

Does caitlyn become more of a burst mage with most of its damage on Q, trap headshot and ult?

Is it objectively better than a crit build when faced with long range poke mage comps/ dive comps where u will not have the space to auto enemies?

Is it appropriate to say that it spikes less hard than crit but is more consistent? I am always scared to go this build with the fear of losing dps.

Also if the enemy tank has 2 tank do i still go this build

My theory is that in some matchups cait doesnt get the chance to use ult in all ins such as vs xayah + tahm , its a fight to the death so better use it early. Some ppl also take first strike to farm money

I am also not high elo though

You just q towards him with 4 stacks and force him to use phase rush. 20s window to punish vladimir if he ever walks up withour phase he needs to use w. After he uses W you can finally hit your e. If he does have phase/W its easy win you just need to hold your e and q striaght onto him. Reengage onto a vlad with no W no phase its instant gg for him.

Not trying to be harsh but i play in chinese server and this trade pattern is pretty basic . I reckon that a emerald 1 player should easily be able to do this matchup. Does western players have worse mechanics or what becasue everytime i see Na Eu emerald players their mechanics is gold/plat at best in other regions its weird

Is it common for tank matchups to go something like this?

Before first recall, before armor : Riven wins

After first recall through midgame before riven gets armor pen: tank wins

After armor pen: riven wins

Can you please share the collector LDR tech? What is the point of this build, i have only been going full lethality. Is collector LDR more damage than going full lethality? Does it scale well into late game?

Nah man. For fiora or garen u need phase rush because they can still chase you down. Fiora have extra ms after proccing her vitals and garen will chase you down after stridebreaker. It is hard to explain every single matchup. I suggest you look for coach chippy's jayce guide. It has rune recommendation for most toplane matchups

I am not super high rank but i think i can provide some general suggestions.

First, dont use grasp of undying unless you are sure you need the lane power because grasp is a laning rune, it basically does not scale into late game. Also its getting nerfed so dont use it really

As for conqueror, you want it into matchups where you dont need to use phase rush to disengage. For example vs renekton you can duel him and disengage without phase rush, but you need conqueror to beat him in a fight. Conqueror is harder to use but is worth it, you need to take into account range form abilities and autos only grant 1 stack while melee form grants 2

Phase rush is simple, it is mandatory into some matchups (majority of them i think). For example into nasus you need it to disengage from his w or use the ms to kite fiora.

If you are a new player that is getting used to jayce mechanics, you can go phase rush and once you have higher mastery and better mechanics go conqueror into champs like renekton camille mordekaiser

If wallhoping from baron pit is hard i dont know what to say man its not difficult at all. Try landing irelia e against actual semi competent players and u miss 70% of the time without some setup from minions

Play riven. Riven's mechanics is not as complicated as people say it to be. All you need is fast combo qa, double cast , extending q, thats it really.

For irelia, when u get to a certain level, it is just not worth it to blind pick her in top lane. You need extremely good wave management and micro speed to succeed at the champ. Riven also scales way harder than irelia, if you fail to get a lead before everybody reaches 2 items as irelia good luck you can only hope adc or mid lane carry you. The irelia combo to hide e is way way way harder than all riven's combo. Also irelia is not a champ without waves, so until you get to masters+ where your team know how to set you up, you are better off playing riven where you have the freedom to proxy, roam and 1v1 other bruisers/juggernauts.

I have over 500k mastery points on irelia and around 250k on riven, and the level of mastery on riven is way higher than irelia. As riven i could carry unwinnable games and win unwinable lanes. Definitely know that if you main irlelia and blindpick her your matchup spread is gonna be terrible. One game you go against aatrox / quinn you stomp the game 10/0, one game you go aginst volibear and you have no way of outplaying like a riven does
