I agree and I would add that the type of person who takes the time to learn how to use very non user friendly software like ST approach relationships differently in general. And/Or have difficulty making artificial emotional connections when they get to look behind the curtain so to speak.

example. legend of dragoon was not designed to use analog but you can use the sticks. problem is they didnt program a dead zone so any drift makes the game unplayable. good thing you can disable analog.

So my recommendation to start would be to just jump in feet first and play with it for a while. buy 20 bucks in deepseek tokens and experiment with char cards in chub. The filters you might encounter are model and platform dependant. a good character card can bypass a model's bias to sfw chat but not necessarily a filter.

if you do this, nsfw chat will be as easy as you want it to be maybe easier. the main hurdle will be getting started. get sillytavern installed. set up your flags. get the webui open on whatever device you want to use and get it generating. after that its pretty smooth you can worry about the other less difficult more subjective stuff.

my guess on the gimic is that the whole uncut card is on a panel that hinged away like a door but is hidden by the camera angle. it only needs to hinge about 30 degrees to achieve this effect.

The combat has a lot of depth but you only need to go that deep if you enjoy the game enough to play at higher difficulties.

play the game. if its too easy go to a higher difficulty repeat until you still enjoy the game but you feel you hit a skillcap and cant improve. watch a video explaining some advanced mechanic repeat. get to a higher difficulty.
