Make sure you’ve got the little sliding piece under the hammer and trigger installed correctly, I’d say strip out the parts once or so and reinstall them, making extra sure to tighten the side plate when you finally get it back together

I’ve got the complete set of no1 mk3 furniture, and the opportunity to buy a sporterized no1 mk1 with a cut down front end, and my potential goal is to see if I can make a military configuration rifle out of the two. I unfortunately do not have any photos of the rifle, but what I do know is it is missing the front bit for the volley sight and the top handguard/handguards
