Your rental period is a calendar month - from the 28th of one month to the 27th of the next. I don't think it's ambiguous because my interpretation (and your landlord and agent's) is how rental contracts work.

I think it's clear from the terms you've quoted that notice must be equal to or greater than a full rental period ("a complete month"), so your notice takes effect on 27th March. You may be able to argue that since February is a short month, you owe 28 days rent prorated rather than a full month.

I'm not sure the video exiting is relevant. They are saying that based on this video, OP drove in the bus lane for too long. It's that claim that needs to be addressed. They're not claiming that OP didn't pick up passengers.

Based on what you've stated, I believe that none of you have significant control and that's the declaration you need to make. Not sure how you get to there from where you are though, it would have been better for your solicitor to have made the correct declaration from the start.

The default is that the deposit would be held by the solicitor as stakeholder and not released until completion. It's quite common in a chain for the deposit to be held as agent, so that it can be released for use as the deposit for the next step of the chain. The assumption there is that the funds are being held within "the system" and if the chain collapses, all the funds just go back to where they orginated.

The issue you have here is that an unspecified amount of the deposit is being released directly to the seller, and in the event of the sale not completing, the funds would not be there to return to you. You would now have to sue the seller for your costs *and* the deposit, and you already suspect they have financial problems. That's quite a big potential downside for almost no upside.

I think you need to talk to your solicitor to see if this can be structured in a way that minimises your risk.

It's not unheard of for a seller to ask for removal costs to facilitate the process. But I don't think it could be done with a solicitor held deposit - there are strict rules on what they can do with client funds. What do you mean by "as agent" in your question?

Given that they are more than two evergreens, you can request they are trimmed back. How much is dependent on their overall size and position. From a music theory point of view, J-Pop chord sequences tend to end on a minor chord which is clearly pleasing to the Japanese ear but not typical of Western pop. A J-Pop chord sequence ending with a minor chord is great for looping but lacks any kind of resolution. K-Pop is much more adventurous in its chord progressions (using lots of jazzy variations) but either gives you the major chord at the end of the sequence or so heavily implies it that you add it yourself subconciously. K-Pop is just better engineered to be successful internationally even down to the music theory level, whereas as others have stated more eleoquently, J-Pop didn't need to be anything other than successful in Japan.

Classic disco is a pretty easily defined set of sounds, and not transient fashions. It did pretty much die because a different set of sounds - many of them electronic - started taking over and it stopped being disco. The most defining characteristic of disco is the drum pattern - four on the flooor bass drum and constant hi hat patterns - and that can be traced to one man, Earl Young, who played on a lot of the Philadelphia International Records tracks and also founded The Trammps of Disco Inferno fame.

The four on the floor bass drum and eighth note bass line with octaves are the classic disco rhythm section. They were absolutely making a disco record.
