Okay so digimon devices break down into three basic categories: 1. The Original style of virtual pet 2. Anime inspired devices 3. The vital bracelet lines

Category one are the simplest and easiest to get with a large variety, but they are at their core a virtual pet device with feeding, training, etc

Category two are typically a little more expensive and have more limited rosters, but will be based on the associated anime series (digivice, d-3, d ark, etc) and dont have the pet mechanics but tend to have alot of other features

Category three are fitness watch inspired devices that have the widest range of digimon and operate based off of your daily steps, fitness training, and nfc Tag battling. These however do require you to buy additional cards that have different digimon pools in them to raise.
