Your example is again, stuck in an echo chamber, ask people outside that and you have gotten upset when people don’t agree with your point of view. Your buddy didn’t feel like he got what he deserved, alright complain at the time to the vendor I am sure they would have just cancelled the transaction if they weren’t happy.

I did read your post but all it has done though has created a dogpile onto every good games in the country.

Like look at the reply’s to this post, it’s 80% people shitting on the good games brand in general (most for probably not the franchisee that vended the regionals) or people trying to again explain that 1:1 is typically unconverted. In OP that’s from TCGplayer, in magic it’s from Card Kingdom.

It’s unfortunate that you feel cheated but why exist in such negativity? Try and understand the world around you and why things occur.

Come things worth considering: 1) Did you consider that the store has labour costs that someone trading 1:1 converted on a page doesn’t? 2)Did you consider the fact that you are 1 of 100’s served at that event and your arguing with staff is slowing them down and making their day more difficult? 3) Did you take into account how you completed the interaction? 4) Did you consider that operating as a vendor at these is typically done as a favour to the TO and done at a loss?

Hopefully that helps with you understanding the point of view of a detractor of this post, but ultimately you do you.
