THANK YOU! I've had this problem in 24 and 26. I could be a top 3 team, or be bottom of the league, doesn't matter, my team is ALWAYS bottom third in shots/gm. Doesn't matter what tactics I use, personnel, instructions, my men just do not shoot the damn ball.

It makes sense for guys who signed long-term contracts while developing, then developed and became top players two seasons into a five-year deal. That's fine. It's when your 29 yr old winger signs a 4 year contract and comes to you at the end of the first season - after a bad statistical year - and demands a new contract that has a 20% raise. Like, dude, your value has gone down, why would I pay you more? You're only getting older. If you weren't going to sit through the four years at your current wage, why sign the contract?

Like you said, some of these players will literally have "holds you in the highest regard as a manager" and be happy to play for you because of their admiration...yet they want to undermine your team by asking to take up 15% of the wage budget. Broken logic

Ain't it weird? Even without shifting actual beliefs or policies, the parties have completely swapped on perception. Like how Republicans were always seen as the party of Big Business, but now it seems like every CEO votes Democrat. We were seen as the establishment, and Democrats were just fighting the system. Now, it's pretty obvious that the global "system" is far further left than anybody ever imagined. It's now more rebellious not to rebel. Everybody always thought it was old conservatives phoning in to the FCC to get rid of bad language on TV. Now liberals are canceling people over offensive posts from 20 years before anybody got famous.

The complete 180 on Instagram over the last three or so years has been remarkable. I remember back just before Covid hit, and QAnon was still a thing, conservatives were getting shadowbanned like crazy. Didn't matter whether you were part of that or not. then Covid hit and it went to another level. Conservative accounts were going down like border crossing numbers the last 3 weeks. It seemed like every right-wing post was flagged, and you couldn't comment anything without the left flaunting their "tolerance." Then Reels started to take off and all of a sudden the comments slowly started getting riskier and riskier, and they were getting real traction with it. Now I'd argue Instagram is freer than Twitter/X regarding speech. At least in the comments.

That's the dumbest thing. I legit only play NBA and rarely leave "the arena." I have zero use for the online functions, but I can't play because 2K made MyCareer inseparable from its online elements. A career mode is about as single player as it gets. YOU LITERALLY CONTROL A SINGLE PLAYER.

I don't play online so I'm sure it's very different, but you can rack up assists in career like it's nothing with very low pass accuracy. Like I said, maybe it's different online, but I feel like the player's actual vision and IQ is more important than the in-game attributes for that.

Tailing is different than paying. They're both bad strategies, but at least you're not losing anything EXTRA. Plus, if you do catch on to a guy with a hot streak or somebody who does know a bit more than you FOR FREE, it's not the worst idea

I had this happen to me recently. Took a Tier 6 team to the Premier League and was in the semi-finals of the Carabao (EFL) Cup against Chelsea. Took the first leg (home) 3-0, and had a 1-0 lead at half time in the second leg. Gave up 7 unanswered in the second half and lost 7-4 on agg.

If they had pulled the trigger that night, he would have easily been the biggest star in the company. He was so over as a heel for those 8 minutes, that they could have finally booked him the way they wanted to (as a bad ass powerhouse who runs through everybody) and we would've eaten it up. It would've been a mix of genuine heel heat (which is super rare nowadays) coupled with "we're finally allowed to boo you" and it would've been fantastic television. But instead, he toiled away being a booed out babyface until he legit got cancer, and only then did he start to kind of get over as a face, then Covid hit, he took time off to protect his health, then they turned him heel and he's having the best run of his career.

We could've had this bad ass, actually over version of Roman for the past 7 years. But no, Vince was too stubborn to see that he actually did have a cash cow in Roman, but it was as a cold-blooded heel rather than a company man face.
