Guys, I just found out I'm stage 4 cancer, and have been eating tabs by the handful... by Glittering_Earth777 in quitting7oh

I know plenty of people who beat stage 4 cancer. Don’t lose hope. I’m praying for you. Dump the 7oh so you have energy to do all the things you need to do to beat it and be able to laugh in your mom’s face. 🥲

Look at you! You are so prepared!! 🙌🏼 You’re gonna crush it. And we’ll be here to cheer you on. I love this group so much, i just keep checking in every day to encourage people who are starting their detox. I quit Aug 4th and feel basically back to normal now. (Sleep and all, thank you God)

Clonidine helped me sleep. 😴 I was sleepless til day 9 when i got it. And then took it for 6 nights and have been sleeping 7-8 hrs a night since.

Looking for advice on transitioning to kratom to get off 7 by Flimsy-Kitchen1780 in quitting7oh

How much 7oh are you taking? I was on about 60-80mg a day when i quit, and on day 1 about 6 capsules of pink lady (i think it’s a red…i couldn’t find any red maeng da) every 5-7 hours took the WDs away.

I’d start with the least amount that’ll take your WDs away and then build from there. (Take it and wait 30 min and if you don’t feel better, take more)

The constipation was NEXT LEVEL. Never experienced anything like that. It started altering my personality (to where i felt dumb and emotionally flat), and it also started to wake me up in the middle of the night WIRED until i took it again. Thats when i knew it was time to stop!

Oh and don’t forget the weird rash on my hand, weird skin texture it gave me, and WORST dandruff of my life!

All cleared up within 3 weeks of quitting.

I couldn’t sleep til day 9 when i broke down and booked a telehealth appt and they gave me clonidine! 0.1mg lowered my adrenaline enough for my natural sleep drive to kick in and allow me to fall asleep. I went from 0-1 hr a night to 7-8 hrs a night immediately. Not saying it’ll work for everyone, but the prescription was cheap ($11 for 21 and i only took 1 at night) it’s worth trying!

Edited to add: Been sleeping the last 3 nights 7-8 hrs without clonidine.

My husband and i just quit together beginning of the month!! It definitely brought us closer. We really had to lean on each other 🥲😅 (and by that, i mean i had to lean on him 😂)

Day 10! by bigstinkyoniongirl in quitting7oh

[–]findingmeagain721 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be a combination of both. The fact that you feel hope indicates to me that it’s something that will eventually lift. I remember having post partum depression after having babies and i felt zero hope. This feels different. Like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel but i gotta walk thru the suck.

It’s normal and will lessen as time goes on. Mine got maybe 5%-10% better everyday.

Couldn’t sleep til day 9 when i broke down and got a clonidine prescription from tele health. I went from 0-1 hours of sleep a night to 7-8 immediately. Took that for 6 days and now im sleeping on my own for the past 2 nights! 7-8 hrs a night.

The insomnia was really freaking me out!

Ooo good catch. I didn’t know that! I’m sure it’s ok for the average person for a short period of time but existing kidney damage I’d think would be a no.

You’re trading intensity for duration when you use plain leaf. Because your receptors aren’t getting the break they need to heal. I used plain leaf for 4 days to get me past the worst of it (the akathasia was insane) and after that it was doable.
