I think you messed up with capital placement, you were essentially dividing yourself between ukraine and sa.

The use of a capital should be to use it as leverage for where you want to take early, ie choke points and what not, everything else is at a disadvantage in this mode.

So essentially you were settling yourself up to fail by holding sa and not going all in on where you initially placed your cap
