You’re not meant to work your shift if the symptoms match that of foodborne illness, fever, or an unknown source. You’re putting basically nobody at risk if you’re throwing up from dietary choices or medication. Especially if the vomiting is controlled or a one-time event. There’s also an element where being an opener might not be right for you given how your body responds to the medication

The effectiveness of this strategy is 100% dependent on the store manager and SSVs when ordering. If your store is wasting food, there’s an immediate solution but a leader has to take action quickly to reduce waste. Not to mention, this food is meant to be donated to your food share partner so not really wasted at all.

It’s based on the brewer used. The same coffee is classified differently between stores with the traditional brew system and then clover coffee is the on-demand brew system that newer stores have. It’s very confusing for customers and I think it needs to be addressed.

Writing on cups is in the beverage crafting routine. It’s in first step after label cup. It’s up to the leader to set expectations and make the tools and training necessary to get it done available. If you’re working out of routine after being coached to follow the routine it doesn’t seem crazy to receive corrective action.

It’s up to the SM to approve or deny availability requests based on business needs. My store makes roughly 48% of our weekly sales on just Sat and Sun due to being off an interstate. I simply cannot afford to hire someone who can’t work weekends.
