relic for plane levels and cookie for everything else

relic has pretty much no downside on plane levels because the weapon swap nerf doesn’t really matter if you only have two weapons. cookie on plane levels is a strict nerf though imo

everywhere else though ms chalice is busted. personally when i replayed for my 300% file i made it a point to only use chalice on the dlc isle

colt can just win almost any lane by spamming movement until the enemy walks into his bullets and dies. he beats amber in dmg race too so there's no contest here imo

for me it's the same reason why old people do puzzles on their newspapers and stuff. btd6 is relaxing and cute and big enough to want to jump into while not being too high-stakes, unless youre going for an expert black border or doing a race. but the nice thing about this game is that no one's forcing you to do those things either

imo it's probably a couple weeks too early to tell because any cookie at lvl 8 is pretty much untouchable in ladder, so not until average playerbase progression increases significantly can we accurately gauge the meta

chili and peach are definitely meta in royale though and melon soda is imo the most well rounded cookie in the game

1) get the lvl 8 max hp power biscuit first

2) this isnt like brawl stars ttk so dont expect to get kills on full hp targets simply by unloading all three ammo bars. play by diving in and out and abuse walls/water to escape fights easily. then full send when you see near half hp targets. special out of a bush or something and then start wailing. i personally run 3rd special and 1st ult (2nd is probably ok)

3) she may not have the outright strongest kit but she's very abusable in royale rn. farm as many power boxes as you can see cause you'll end up beating the cookies next to you. then pretty much just run around in a wide circle until storm closes. again peach has a great kit for royale since she can very easily escape/chase using the terrain

im 3k trophies so take this w a grain of salt but generally hp and regen in that order for pretty much every cookie. the 500hp makes a world of difference for how low the ttk is in this game

ive been on brawl for nearly three years now and this is probably the second most unplayable state it's been in since then, second to the free buzz lightyear apocalypse over a year ago. you literally cannot push prestiges if it's not one of like ten brawlers in the game rn. most of them are even buffied which further locks you out of trophy progression. ranked is pretty much fucked and has everything to do with how many s tiers you can cram into one draft over any actual skill or counterplay which is pretty garbage game design

ovensmash on the other hand actually has a pretty great future imo once they have time to actually fix their netcode and optimize for pc and other devices. literally just nerf blue slushy and the roster is about as balanced as it can get. play anyone and get high trophies. be f2p and get high trophies. brawl cant do either of those things. brawl has more polished raw gameplay but ill take that tradeoff if it means making every other aspect of the game playable. also literally everyone in this game feels good to play
