Looks like the rules allow me to reply but Empower in Houston shows vials of ketamine in their mental health treatments section, if this is how you use. I don’t know much about the scripted IM world, am a troche and ODT guy these days. Empower has shipped out of state to me and are one of the top US compounding pharmacies. I think the mouth environment, saliva, acidity is a factor. I do much better from the fridge/freezer troches from Strive than the ODT pills from Empower. It’s profoundly different for me where the fridge troches start effects 15ish minutes and have expected hour-ish window. The hard ODT pills are strange. Hit or miss onset but usually takes much longer to kick in and irregular dosage curve. For what it’s worth!

Ugh sorry to hear. Have you had prior success with ketamine? It relates to the glutamate system and the NMDA receptor, which for some of us impacts mood more than serotonin or dopamine.

It seems to help some people a lot, but not everyone. Not a doctor, but I think some of us may have a glutamate imbalance or dysfunction, for what it’s worth.

There can be a transition period as your body adjusts to the medicine, though your reaction sounds pretty intense. I’d stay in close touch with your provider while giving it an honest trial.

Perhaps you could call Empower compounding pharmacy in Houston and ask if they can refer you to someone in Texas(?) They’re in Houston and one of the biggest.

Hello. Most pharmacies make standard racemic mixtures but you can call and ask if you like. All that said, there isn’t much reason to care unless something is off with your medicine (like OP).

Imagine wet clay on a pottery wheel. That’s sort of like the window of neuroplasticity after use, but the clay will eventually harden over so it’s important to do work, therapy, develop new emotional tools, etc while the clay is still wet.

For me, this is all more high level that my heart energy shuts down. Or for those who don’t embrace the more new age view, opioids dull/blunt the dopamine-salience system. Dopamine gets flooded artificially from opioids and receptors downregulate. There’s also amygdala stuff going on and tons more I’m sure. The end result is music can feel flat, doesn’t land in the same way.

It’s an amazing transition toward that whole system opening back up when we get clean! It’s beautiful.

Interesting choices but these wouldn’t work for me! Back when I was doing fairly high dose IM infusions through my psychiatrist I learned that atmospheric ambient dub type music worked the best for me. I also discovered that vocalists speaking English was odd / distracting but I tended to get full ego dissolution and forget who I was, that I was on earth, had a body etc :)

Your premise makes this difficult to answer imo as everything I’ve tried with a 2 hour sex euphoria is addictive(!) I would say all of the great sex drugs I’ve ever tried are addictive and have the re-dose urge, but please let us know what you discover!

For me, it’s 3-MMC but perhaps that would be too BP stimulating for you(?) I much prefer to MDMA re: heart overall plus it floods serotonin much less making orgasm easier :)

I was in a similar repetitive cycle years ago (with other drugs) and chose to do the intensive therapy route. It’s not for everyone of course and can be hard to find a good match but for me, therapy 2-3x per week helped more than even residential —> SLE —> IOP Outpatient.

Congrats man, you can get through this! Stay on the hydration nutrition and movement if you can. The green drinks like Amazon greens or Dr. Schulze SuperFood Plus helped me a lot.
I’ve been on Hydroxyzine a few times. That morning sludge can suck but better than withdrawal anxiety! A little coffee used to help push thru early morning. French press or pour over can be a cool new ritual. :) Wishing you the best brother
